PostLet us know if you win.

I moved to the UK when I was about 8, so I never made any proper friends when I was in primary school. I just had people I knew. When we got to secondary school, one of my "acquaintances" got picked on badly. Being a girls school, the most common thing to call her was "lesbian" and they used to make a big fuss when she was in the changing rooms before P.E. I regret to say that I never stood up for her. If she was alone during lunch, I used to get her to sit with us- but we never took a stand aga…

PostQuote from PhaZe: “Sweet, thanks. I wish I could see the brits' reactions to pewdie's "brittish" accent xD” XD He nailed my accent (Scouse/ Liverpool accent) when he was mimicking the dung beetles during his playthrough of Conker's Bad Fur Day. But it's a northern accent. He's gonna be living in the south. It'll be fun...

I love candles- but you'll never catch me lighting one. I have a fear of matches and lighters. It was a pain back when I studied chemistry- I always had to get somebody else to light my bunsen burner for me. I also fear freshly caught fish. I was at the fish market as a child and my mum asked me which fish I wanted to eat that night. I prodded one- but he was still alive and he nipped my finger. I haven't been in a fish market since that day...

Quote from skilledfor: “Just find the right combination to think rationally, but also listen to your heart. I hope... no. I believe everything will work out for you in the end, okay?” That's one of the nicest things anyone's ever said to me. Thank you. So far, I've decided to just make the most of uni; I may be doing a biology degree, but so far this semester, I've read random books about political theories, culture, sociology and attempted java programming. I get interested in a hundred differe…

Quote from TheIntrovert: “I'm sorry, but seriously. Tell your parents to GTFO and chase your dreams. That's fucked up to let someone down, just because you want him to be what you've never achieved. ” See, that's my problem, that's my past and I can't change that. I'm kinda in limbo now, I want to continue playing with videos and creating things. But I'm so out of practice- I pretty much gave up all the drawing and editing during college as scraping that pass with chemistry was exhausting. So I …

I remember I had to do this. The topic I picked was songs of my life. (Cheesy, I know) I wrote down all major milestones in my life- Moving to another country, getting a new house, the day I learnt to rollerblade, etc; and then connected one of my favorite songs to each event. It may have been a song I was listening to at the time, or a song I just associate with it for some reason. It gives you plenty to talk about- your favorite memories, songs and experiences. The best bit is that if you forg…

As a child, I always wanted to be a doctor. For a few years I wanted to be an actress. But my parents never encouraged it- they didn't let me go to drama clubs or anything. The annual school musical was the most I could do- and since I wasn't the most confident singer, I always got stuck in the ensemble cast. But I loved movies, and man, I decided that I'm gonna be involved in them no matter what. So I spent most of my high school years dreaming of becoming an animator or special effects artist.…

It sorta reminded me of what happened to one of my friends. I found and added someone whom I had mutual friends with- literally a few hours before Pewds uploaded the Monaco co-op video. In that particular video, Pewdie accidently brings up the steam overlay- for less than a second- where he was looking at the Monaco score-boards. Unfortunately, my friend's steam id was visible. That night I got a very worried message from him as he was terrified of the hundreds upon hundreds of friend requests h…

PostI haven't heard of Mumble before. Thanks for the recommendation. Teamspeak3 sounds good with the ease of recording too. I'll talk to the others and see what they think about it. I've personally never had a problem with Skype before- but there are occasions when it plays up for the others- resulting in long delays. So I'm all for looking at other options. The average we have on a call is probably around 4 people. So as long as it works for that amount, I'm good.

PostSolely PC gaming. Are there any alternatives though? I'm currently using a free trial of Bandicam, as its 10 minute limit is enough for me. These videos are only going on youtube as "unlisted" and watermarks and stuff don't bother us. I don't want to have to buy Fraps if it can be avoided (I may consider purchasing it in the summer, when I get a part-time job) I also don't mind if it's a separate programme that only records audio- I'm fairly proficient with video editors and I can put it togethe…

PostHi Guys, Do you know of any good software that will record skype calls when you're playing co-op? Or is there any other method of doing so? I've tried looking for some- but I don't want to download random ones and delete them if they don't work- I'm in uni and have limited internet so I can't mess around to find the good stuff. :S Any links or recommendations would be very helpful. Also can you try and recommend free/cheap ones?? These lets-plays are only being shared between close friends and s…
