Basic editing program that has fairly good effects and editing is Sony Vegas Movie Studio 11 (HD Platinum version of it I got.) I got it around 75€ in Finland. Good program and can produce 1080p content. Has occasional crashes but not too often.

Did you get the logitech webcam software on a disc? You could easily re-install it through there. Your webcam doesn't work too well without that program though. Well you can try on Windows movie maker and see if your webcam works through there.

Facecam is not needed and then editing gets easier. Though if you want to have facecam everywhere try to position it right. Somewhere it doesn't block things from the game HUD or so. (Sounds hard and it is)
