Naming Characters
PostDo any of you have any resources for picking names? I'm mostly thinking of names that are not your own nationality. For example, I'm looking for a couple japanese names and have no idea how to go about picking something believable. I wouldn't want to pick the "Bob Smith" of Japan, nor the most ridiculous name no one would name their child.

Quote from Karmylla: “Quote from Kerrima: “ Thanks a lot! How do you fade? I've seen opacity changing options, but nothing that indicates a fade. ” To fade out you just go to page two on create event and choose fade out screen, like in this pic. SemTiacutetulo_zpsc66a5df7.png AND it's done :)” Oh I think I miss understood. I thought he meant fadeout the sprite, which I don't know how to do. But thanks for the reply.

Great Steam Games?
PostBastion is a really nice game if you appreciate a good story and good music.

You could both long let's plays and reviews. For Example, do a let's play series, and then end it with a summary/review of the game. It could work well, as people visiting your channel might see the review and decide to watch the let's play, or choose to avoid it because it's not what they're looking for.

It's also an unrelated film and a board game. I would suggest that you get the copyright checked on the game title. It might be that the name "Descent" isn't copyrighted, but you would have to be very careful on content. I might also be that "Descent" is copyrighted in the game industry and you need a new title. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Descent_(video_game) imdb.com/title/tt0463027/ rottentomatoes.com/m/descent/ boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/17…cent-journeys-in-the-dark

Hello, I am trying to find some good horror games that have a good build up of the storyline. Kind of start off slow, and build up a lot of tension. I have on my list Silent Hill, and Crooked Man; I'm looking for a few more along that vein. Think investigative thriller/horror. Any ideas? Edit: Actually if there are films or books like this, I would love to hear those too.

What your teacher wrote was pretty much right. "Whereas" pretty much means "on the other hand", if you understand that phrase. "Whereas" is used to compare two similar, but different things. For example, Resident Evil uses an over the shoulder camera effect, whereas Amnesia uses a first person camera.

Hello. While making my game, I've come across lots of resources to help me figure out how to make my game. I'm going to share them all to you here, since there are a fair few people working on horror projects using RPGMaker. In general my process for building the game was as follows: - Build your maps and your levels - Add Transfers/Doors between them - Create your character/Actor - Add Events and items (NPCs are events) - Lots of playtesting - Add/tweak your textures and visuals - More playtest…

If you are concerned you actually have depression, see a doctor. I would do this if you consistantly get these low feelings from time to time. They can help you assess what it is, and what to do about it. When I had depression, I was recommended Mood gym: moodgym.anu.edu.au/welcome It's a CBT therapy you can use from home. CBT is meant to help people with depression "unravel" their thoughts, and put things in better perspective. But mostly, see a doctor, see what they recommend.

[Accidentally submitted to the "Youtube Channels" section before] Hey there, My friend recently made a video of our LAN parties using green screen and SFM, and it's pretty awesome! We'd appreicate if we could get some feeback on it, he spent a lot of time on it, and he'd like to make more. So if you can spare 1 minute 30 seconds to watch and give a thumb, and also some feedback on the effects, that would be great. youtube.com/watch?v=8JrhmoSXLX…NI7UeGgtgh2JPBUOS1SDRDklb Please enjoy.

I am creating a game
PostQuote from Orioned: “Does that RPG Maker VX Actually work? In the link you put above? Because i am interested in making an RPG maker game myself.. I also don't want nasty viruses.” RPG Maker VX Lite (free version) is also available through Steam if you are worried about links.

"no High pitched voice" cannot be a requirement, since no one is going to know what your definition of a high picthed voice is. For all we know you just have poor quality sound problems, or you can only percieve the tones of Barry White. I can understand the age requirement from a channel point of view; you probably want someone around your own age for synergy. I'm 24 and I wouldn't want to work with a 16 year old. Not because I hate teenagers but the chances are we would have different senses o…

Quote from Kazekage966: “full version .. for free? i hope its not a crack because it would be illegal...” The free trial has access to all the features, but it will limite the number of actors, common events etc. You have less defaults skins/tiles, but you can import your own. I didn't realise it was only 30 day? I downloaded it via steam called "RPGMaker VX Ace Lite" or something. I didn't see a trial limit. I bought the full version personally, but there are trial versions available.
