Sennheiser is average as is Audio Technica but are good for the average consumer! My top choice would be Neumann, Shure, Rode or AKG! Just look for a mic worth more than $300 with the above brands and you have a brilliant mic! Your DAW also affects the sound! I recommend Focusrite! Great great brand and make awesome preamps! Hey all! Kblender here! I have used Handbrake for a while but haven't found the perfect settings for what I am looking for! I am looking for settings that allow a 1080p video to be the smallest file size possible but still have the quality and resolution of a good looking 1080p video! I am using this after I edit video in FCP and so I can upload my videos to Youtube! Any reply would be greatly appreciated! Thanks all! Kblender

Well the frequency response is great so it will pick up the lows and high that you will want and the frequency response of the mic and sensitivity looks pretty good to! I definitely know if you buy an external mic that you will be able to hear yourself through your headphones when you speak but i'm not sure with the gaming headphones! :L I'm guessing you can and if it isn't built into the software, then there will be many other tutorials online and software that will be able to make it happen!
