  • Howdy Bros, I am making videos like Pewds does, and I am using fraps to record gameplay with audio, and audacity to record commentary. So I am running fraps, audacity and the game at the same time. In games like Slender or SCP it recorded fine without lag. But every time I want to make commentaries for Better-Graphics games like Amnesia or Portal 2, everything lags.   • There are advantages and disadvantages in all engines. I am trying to develop a game myself aswell, but, like you, was searching and searching for a game engine that fit my needs. Unity3d is probably the easiest for programming and all that. UDK has an awesome level editor, but is a bit harder to use if you are a N00B. The Blender Game Engine, which I have used, is pretty cool, once you know your way around the interface. My technique is modelling world models, weapons etc. in blender, and then …
