I would personally get the prices of the equipment that your buying and scour amazon and other PC retailers and see if you can pick them up somewhere cheaper; some places have discounts at different times of the year for different components.

Such a potentially deep question through D:

In my opinion it's better to make your own as it works out cheaper for the parts and they're not that hard to make either. Therefore I would go with the 'my own version' if you technically sound with making a computer.

If you want 100% answer then contact the maker of your laptop with your model type and year. Their customer service support team should be able to give you the details. If you have the original packaging of the laptop they may be a booklet stating the specifications inside with the RAM details.

Quote from ADutchGuy: “ASUS N53JF-SX091V” What OS are you running on? You should be able to find those details within your system information (likely under hardware). If your really stuck you could always remove the compartments from the laptop (rear panel, when its cool - remember to discharge any static electricity from your hands) then remove (or inspect) the RAM currently installed - if it was the original RAM that was installed it may have a sticker on the stick stating the type of RAM, pin…

  • That's the reason why I haven't done so they would be too much risk little reward over cents as you put it. I have removed the copyrighted content and will continue to upload until I gain enough subscribers/viewers to be partnership worthy, thanks for all help guys.

  • Quote from Komachi Onozuka: “youtube.com/watch?v=LBgw5sBpVn4 Seriously. It may sound lame to the fact he reads memory cards, but I was 6 when i played this, and genuinely thought he read my mind, therefore I shat bricks.... Also, I HAD NO IDEA I had to switch Controller slots to beat him. All those deaths..... ._.” At the time (if not still) the best game designing I have seen from developers, so ingenious to even think about that (especially controller part haha)

  • Third party content is still copyrighted material it depends on the ownership rights of the material ie. using music could be owned by Universal etc. where as film material could be different. I think you get copyright strikes from third party content sometimes, I know that you should always acknowledge using the content unless it is your own (dispute). Thanks dude I just need to ask permissions from Naughty Dog and figure out how to get a partnership haha.
