Ableton Live is simple, intuitive, and powerful. Lots of people use it for live recording as well as software production. The song in my sig was done in Ableton. You can also use Audacity, but I don't advise it.
New video! I play "Baby Blues" an indie horror game of the three-dimensional variant. Please enjoy! I'll be throwing the video in my signature. Also, I figured out a new way to reduce the amount of noise in my recording, using software. I will be making a tutorial for it very soon.
Quote from "Sharky": “Oh, and, a little tip. Before actually recording a huge episode, try and record, a 5-10 sec video to see if everything works.” Sharkeh for the win. This is a pretty important step for a blind playthrough.
The problem probably lies within Fraps specific use being to capture DirectX-based interactive media. If you have a Stereo Mix Driver on your Soundcard use Bandicam instead. Dxtory most likely won't help you here, but in 3D games it may help to have both Fraps and Dxtory because you'll be more adaptive. What Fraps can't record, Dxtory may be able to, and vice-versa.
Fraps and Dxtory are D3D captures, I guess the option in fraps to record Aero is a workaround. If you want a normal screen capture (Considering Ao Oni is DirectDraw), use Bandicam.
Quote from Dandy Dragon: “Awesome, but what's the point of both fire and ice resistance? I mean, i'm not going to throw it into a fireplace or anything .-.” He also ran it over with a truck, dropped it down a bunch of stairs and shot at it with a powerful airsoft gun. That's pretty impressive. Another reason I can't get into Nikon, cause they break.
Okay, from my experience: FRAPS and Dxtory are your Direct 3D capture softwares. Ifone doesn't work well for a certain game, try the other. I personally love FRAPS, especially for emulators, but Dxtory has on the fly compression and is sometimes a bit faster. Bandicam is an excellent Screen Capture. It basically captures video of your computer screen, for flash games, tutorials, etc. And you webcam can be captured in Windows Movie Maker. But if you have the software for your webcam handy, use th…
I'd like to produce music for a gaming studio. Plot design would be nice as well. I also want children and a quaint home. If I ever came across fortune I would strive to be like Lady Diana.
Wooo!! New diggs. The voice track is purposely quieter than the gameplay because of the awful fridge noise in the recording. Oh well. youtube.com/watch?v=X1yi5VuSOxI
