depends on what you're doing. More informational style videos I find an intro to work really well but only like a 15 second one, it makes you look like you know what you're doing and it looks professinal for a basic let's play channel they're a waste of time, people usually come to see the person play the game and in this case your personality is far more important so do a spoken intro ala pewdiepie,markiplier,tobuscus etc. where you say a catchy line and your name and then straight to business.…

I can't pick one over the other. They go for completely different styles of horror. One is over the top and in your face while another is far more subtle and psychological. Outlast is great for that instant jumpscare and screaming type of horror fix but AMFP is more about tension building and getting lost in an atmosphere and story I say both for different moods.

Awesome, looking forward to seeing the results. My hopes for getting picked were lessened when I saw the sheer absolute volume of people entering the competition. I don't envy the man for having to go through all those but also congrats to the mods for keeping the competiion in check and weeding out the ones that didn't meet the requirements Overall good job all round chaps lol

I sort of agree. He was good a while back and entertaining but now you can really spot when he's forcing something or over reacting. Some videos it doesn't even seem like he wants to be doing them either and he's just going through the motions. How about my relationship, I'm in Ireland and the gf is in Korea, we talk online all the time and it's extremely long distance and I only get to physically be next to her like once a year for 2 weeks at a time. Last time I saw her was December of last year and I likely won't see her again until the Summer of next year. We've been going for 3 years now though and if it feels right it feels right. Some people may think it's crazy but you always know the one when you meet them

My issue with it is if I buy now I won't get until the end of October and then I'll be kicking myself for not waiting for the consumer version. But I desperately wanna get one and start doing videos with it especially horror games as a lot of people have modded support for it into games by now

Prototype 2 is pretty fun. It gets boring after a while like the original did but it's always fun to fly through a city feeling like a badass.

There's different types of spam though. There's people wanting to get their channel noticed and actually writing something out or there's people who just type the same messages in over and over about their minecraft servers and winning ipads etc.

After playing about an hour and a half of it now it's a really great horror game. It's horror done right and a really nice break from all the indie horror games and mods I've been playing cos they're all Slender ripoffs these days

I've been looking forward to some of the bigger name horror games all year and I can't fricken wait to play Outlast. I mean A machine for pigs will be king but I'm just excited to be getting some bigger budget Horror games back in my rotation. I've been playing mods and indie games for so long. Are you getting Outlast? Have you got it pre-ordered like a boss like I do?

Story: Shadow of the Colossus. Ambiguity is the gateway to imagination. The story I made up for most of that game is awesome Graphics: Metro Last Light or Crysis 3 maxed out on a PC can't eb beaten. They just can't. Physics: The all time champion, Half Life 2. It actually used it's physics for gameplay rather than just looking cool

Nathan Drake. He is such an incredibly 1 dimensional character with no progression or growth even after 3 main games. In fact all the Uncharted characters are like that

Kratos is pretty cool as in a "he doesn't care about anything only pure rage" kind of way Dante from DMCIII is the coolest and c*ckiest Dante Geralt of Rivia is a badass in a whole other kind of way but still badass nonetheless

I did a full let's play on it and the game starts so damn strong, it's an incredible horror game for the first half but it gets completely bogged down it it's own gameplay mechanics after a while and it's a chore to play and record. Some puzzles are stupidly complex and some parts of the game are slightly broken like the janitor's AI. But there are some really terrific scares near the beginning of the game
