And hey, since it's your own engine you should add 8 directional movement~ 8 directional movement has more of a sense of control. It would make it stand out from other RPG horrors and would make the game look better overall imo.

I have regular Miku, Len, and Rin too. (You kinda have to in order to use their appends) I actually prefer to use regular Miku because she's more clear than her appends. Rin and Len's power append is awesome though!

Gumi's voice actress is amazing at english. She voiced Meloetta for the japanese and english dub in the pokemon anime. I love pretty much all of the Vocaloids and am a proud owner of Miku Append, Rin & Len Append, Kaito V3, and Oliver. Making frame by frame in photoshop then animating that way seems way too tedious~ I can personally recommend flash because I've had it for a while now and can say that it's easy to learn and decently versatile! I've never heard of pencil, but it does look interesting. I'd say give it a shot before trying flash because flash will probably take more time to get use to. Alright, so after thinking about it a bit I decided platforming doesn't really fit into a good style for Pewds (and I don't really have a lot of ideas or motivation right now) so I'll putting this project on hold for now. I was thinking of perhaps making an rpg instead. Not a horror rpg type thing, but a level up type one with horror elements.
