I remember someone called DildoBitch uploaded his reactions to Amnesia, and it eventually went viral. That was probably what began Amnesia's popularity, actually... I might be wrong (it was a while ago, after all), but I think PewDie started uploading his playthroughs not long afterward and that's how I found him.

Swing music often elevates my mood A LOT, sometimes even enough to put me into manic episodes. Dean Martin Ain't That A Kick In The Head Frank Sinatra That's Life Vic Damone Little Girl Then there's other music, that often hits all my feels: Radiohead No Surprises Wilco At Least That's What You Said Smashing Pumpkins Tonight, Tonight Sigur Rós Sæglópur

I was bullied pretty bad in first through third grade when I moved to the city... God, it was horrible. I had maybe three friends total, and the rest ate my homework, stole my snacks, and pushed me down staircases (which I once had to go to the hospital for). Even one of the assistant teachers bullied me--I heard she was fired a few years ago for, well, bullying the kids. I never stood up to any of them. But when I was eight, I moved to this small country town and went to a kindergarten through …

Gee, most of you must be pretty tough. Honestly, I'd probably feel a bit hurt for a moment. Especially if it came out of nowhere, I'd feel pretty surprised and upset if anyone said that. Of course, I'd suck it up because 1) that isn't true and 2) people who say things like that are assholes. But it's not as if I could easily brush off someone telling me to die. Of those options, I'd tell them to fuck off. I'm not smug enough to smile and it takes more than that to make me cry.

I love that you're doing this to help overcome your social anxiety in addition to just having fun while playing games! You've got great commentary, so I'll def be checking out more of your stuff.

Quote from Widge: “ First off anytime you feel anxious, give sigur ros (an icelandic band) a listen, preferably laying down on your bed for maximum effect.” I highly recommend this. Anything from Sigur Ros' discography will do the trick, promise.

I've been diagnosed with bipolar disorder for several years, but I've never received treatment for it. No significant treatment, anyway. I don't feel ready to. Though, what usually helps me get by is listening to Stephen Fry... Might sound silly, but he talks a lot about depression and I often feel like he's the only one who really gets it. Hes done an amazing documentary on it, and I usually watch when I'm really, really down. Knowing other people get through it helps. And writing and video gam…

Dating Standards
PostI don't see having personal preferences as a problem. IMO, if it is true love, you'll probably be willing to push aside your standards/sexuality, anyway. Personality: Must have a sense of humor. Optimistic and maybe a little bubbly. Oh, and has to somehow find delight in the fact that I'm a complete nerd. Age Range: For girls, they must be around my age or older. Men must be at least 10 years older than me. [Strange, I know.] Appearance: I don't care, they just have to dress decently and do yoga…

Like Cirno said, not everybody can be good with commentary... However, I think you should give it a shot despite being shy. Quiet people can be fantastic entertainers. Also keep in mind that you do not have to scream and crack jokes all the time unless that's makes you feel comfortable. Game commentators don't have to be comedians. You should do whatever you need to do in order to feel good about what you're doing; point out useless things, talk like an Elizabethan playwright, swear frequently, …

Aw, don't worry, you don't sound stupid. However, that situation you're in is tough. When my mom asked why I bought so much equipment, software, games, etc., I just told her it was because I want to play video games with my friends (which isn't a lie since I do). I'm also homeschooled, which means I'm home alone most of the time and can record as much as I please. So I guess you're a bit out of luck on that one unless you'd like to homeschool (assuming you are still in school, anyway)... Maybe y…

Ever wondered...
PostYes, death is upsetting for most people. And now that I think about it, I probably fear the death of people around me more than my own. Quote from TheAlphaTurkey: “It is nice to think though, that a bro could have been re-incarnated in Mr chair, or Stephano, or even someone that knows Felix, and that they are happy now, even though they no longer know their past life. ” Okay, I just went from thinking this thread is really upsetting to seeing this and laughing absurdly hard.

I've been pretty happy in New Hampshire, USA, though I do think there are quite a few places I'd prefer. 1) Iceland! I really admire the culture, arts, and people from there--I've even spent the past two years learning Icelandic (which is a real pain). But the place is amazing; crime is pretty much nonexistent, the music is grand, and things seem to be going great there. Not to mention it is so damn beautiful wow. (Hidden Content) 2) Chicago, Illinois! This place seems realistic 'cause there are…

The time to give!
PostI went to a bookstore last night to find The Fault In Our Stars by John Green for my mother. I looked through the place for an hour and found they had all his books except the one I wanted... I needed TFIOS because it's the only book that could "work." My mother hasn't read a book since high school and she's always struggled with reading, but I read the first couple chapters of The Fault In Our Stars recently and thought it could be the book that makes her start reading again. The storyline and …
