PostI'm talking about how difficult it is to properly scream/growl, not calling it shit. I'll give it a shot, but I was saying how its neatly impossible to do a good growl. xD

PostI approve. I prefer the heavy, deep guttural growl and pig-squeal to most of that. I've dappled in if myself, rarely coming to success. Shits painful, even when done right.

PostThey're more metal core, aren't they? If so, I've heard of them but never anything more. BTW, my sig. is of Impending Doom's More Than Conquerers.

PostDude, for you saying that, I just earned a ton of respect for you. Do you know who Infidel Amsterdam is? He says that quite often, and hes a hero of mine.

PostThere's too much softcore in so many scenes of punk. That genre in general just hurts me. I do not mean to offend you, I just don't like punk.

PostThe rhythm guitar. I don't like hearing really the sane des chords, although the vox and drumming are great.

Death, Ascension, Resurrection all one title, Baptized in Filth and Murderer by Impending Doom. For Lamb of God, just type their name in.

PostQuote from Rune: “Avenged's older stuff was a lot heavier but I'm a fan nontheless ” Indeed, but a lot from Nightmare is still as heavy as City Of Evil was. They've held that sound in Save Me, Natural Born Killer, God Hates Us, Danger Line and Nightmare itself, as they all retain that new American metal sound and feel. I will always love them.

PostQuote from Mech__Warrior: “Disturbed = Nu Metal They are a type of metal but it's more like that radio crap that's on the airwaves. Metal under a technicality, similar to Avenged Sevenfold. Like I said before, you can put those guys on the radio and everyone is cool with it. ” I'd consider A7X to be heavy, as their origins are the true heavy metal that is following in Lamb Of God's wake. Disturbed is alt. metal, to be nice, as they lack heavy and fast bass and harsh vox, which is what most metal…

PostMy music is probably pretty small in comparison to most of you. My tastes extend into classical/OST's, southern rock, some classic rock, and all metal. You can say that's narrow, but my inspiration comes from metal, my favorite drummers are metal or jazz drummers, and will remain that way.

I see three major flaws. I know you were replying elsewhere, but I'm personally strictly metal. Nothing …
