Okay, so I'm messing around with Special Effects, VFX, whatever you wanna call it. I'm still barely an amateur with it, so this is gonna take a LONG time.
But, I've been watching and keeping up to date with Corridor Digital (If you don't know who they are, they are an awesome group of VFX artists who make superb videos). Here's an awesome video: youtube.com/watch?v=hDlif8Km4S4, and I was thinking about setting up a second channel for future VFX movies sometime in the near future. By the time I had a few test VFX videos up and got some good responses, I wanted to start a web series like FreddieW's VGHS (youtube.com/watch?v=1JqR3GVqib4 ) series, or Corridor Digital's Sync (youtube.com/watch?v=oBftzMxDtIg ) of my own. But I would try to make these at least semi serious. I already had some ideas, like a Mafia one, a kinda Western one (I know that'd be kinda hard to take serious, but meh), and some others. Then a bell rung, and I thought of an awesome series idea:
CRY OF FEAR
What would you think if someone (Me) got the capabilities in the near future to create a series based wholly on the Cry of Fear mod? I honestly even re-enacted some of the significant scenes in the game with some of my friends off camera, and it was pretty fucking rad. So, yeah. Wanted some feedback on A: The Channel idea and B: The Cry of Fear VFX webseries idea.
