Advice?

  • Okay, so I'm a Youtuber (Who on this forum isn't?) and I have a dilemma.

My subscribe rate is great, a little over 300. Hopefully gonna hit 400 to 500 in a few months so I can partner(Or try to) with Fullscreen. I heard that it is a really good partnership, and the requirements are great.
And if that doesn't work, I have backups, but still, Fullscreen looks good so far. But, there's a problem.

If you check out my channel, you can look at my subscriber/view ratio sucks majorly. 339 subscribers and 1318 video views? I mean, I was hoping that these subscribers would help balance out that ratio, but it didn't help at all. Can someone help me? Give advice? :'(
  • I have it otherwise then I got alot of views few subscribers and if you have so few views you can't apply I am afraid. But I think you got your subscribers with a one weird way, I guess some of your subscribers have to watch your videos. Alots of subscribers never means many views if you got them with sub4sub or something lol. All i can advice is to wait.... like I do lol.

  • The key is not sucking.

lol jk. I think I suck (AND I'M PROBABLY RIGHT). But my subs are 311 and views are 47k. But most of my views are from the old Dofus videos I used to do. I'm not sure why my dofus videos were any more popular than anyone elses, but they were. I also advertised my youtube on the official dofus site and the most famous unofficial forums. So that's probably what got me those views and such. (That and they were damn good videos! But that was pre-commentary). I think something like that would be good, the main problem is I don't know what site you could advertise at because you are probably playing a bunch of different games, so it'd have to be relevant to where you're posting. But from reading the forum, we all seem to have that issue. I think you just keep doing what you're doing and if your videos are that good, it'll pick up.

And by advertise I mean similar to on here how you just make a thread and post updates about your videos when you have them. Not OMG SUB PLEASE *next day* SUB PLSSSSS. etc. Just do what you do and do it to the best of your ability and people will appreciate it :P (I think/hope XD)

  • It's all about view count man. Just gotta keep making videos and things like that. Collab with other youtubers, show confidence, and provide good quality content, and things will get easier. My suggestion, if you can get the money to do it, buy like a board or something to stand somewhere, and get some green wallpaper to use as a green screen. What you use is good, but if you notice, it kinda makes you look really fuzzy in the podcast videos.

You are to a good start so far. While people say subs mean nothing, it's not always true. Subs help show that your channel is going somewhere. If you promote your channel somewhere and they go to it, the first thing they will see is you have a good amount of subs, enticing them to watch your videos. Just keep working at it and eventually you'll get up there.

    Try with someone else.

And if you have dungeon defenders, hit me up.[/quote]

Any Partnership suggestions? For future reference?

Also, I might get it. Maybe we could try a coop video with a game sometime...? (Totally cool if not)
    @ Chibi

I know, but we don't have any and I don't have time. :/ I'll try to find a better alternative. :)
  • I only have 54 subscribers and 15 000 views in total o_o well it was because some of my videos are random, one was a warning about a scam from tube channel doctor thing from PM messages on YouTube. I saved a lot of YouTube peoples account since when peoples on Google was typing the scam thing, my video was appearing first XD

Then, mostly I was doing random small gameplay clip videos of games and some were interesting in search bar with tags, video title I put, even with one of my video gameplay of my Ao Oni mod, the "IT'S R-PING TIME" in the title of it with the actual voice when Ao Oni see you... I don't know, a lot of peoples who searched for PewDiePie music video of Ao Oni was falling to that video which made lots of views randomly.. but well... when I wait, it grow up a bit times by times without I see, last month, I was 51, now this month, I'm at 54, so it's coming good

And yeah, I just made random video, have friends, they want to sub to me or then random peoples subs to me occasionally, I just get loads of views from all my randomness videos... yeah I don't do really LP series but if I could have a new computer, clean harddrive, powerful PC, having Sony Vegas installed on it, Bandicam and then whatever I needed, I could finally start maybe some LP series of games :)
