yes it is possible. I remember playing this version of tetris.

this is Tetris: The Grandmaster 2 in Sudden Death mode. It is that hard... The player doesnt push a button to put them down instantly. The game does it. Only released in Japan though...

Nah, this is far from being Tool Assisted. I actually played the Tetris Grandmaster games in sudden death mode and the blocks actually falls at that speed.

Here's another exemple. You can see that the person who played had a bit of trouble.

with alot of practice, it's doable. Very hard but not impossible.
