Not too sure what to say, I've never been all that great at forum introductions.
Well, I guess I'll just throw around random information about myself, and if you'd like to know more, just ask!
I'm a college student in Canada studying 3D Game Animation and Modelling and I'll be graduating at the end of September this year, hoping to land a job somewhere doing level design or environment art, as I like to specialize in hard surface modelling and whatnot, though I can animate and create characters fairly well also. My programs of choice that I am most comfortable with are Photoshop, Maya, Zbrush, UDK and XSI.
As for gaming related stuff and non-educational/career related, I love gaming, in face, I play quite a few video games! World of Warcraft, Runescape, etc, any major MMORPG I've pretty much played on, used to do tons of beta testing back around 2005 to 2007. I play Counter-Strike, Killing Floor, Dota 2, League of Legends, Magicka, Amnesia: The Dark Descent (even working on a Custom Story right now!), and so on!
I'm also a digital artist, mainly focusing on somewhat abstract images (not random scribbles thrown together though, mind you, my art usually has a central theme to it that's more easily recognizable/interpreted). For about a year I also focused on making artwork relating to Space after playing through Mass Effect 1 and 2. Depending on time constraints, I may or may not showcase some art here, however I do have it on my personal website, which I could link, if I figure out if that's allowed or not (have to figure out if that counts as spam/advertising or not!) and so forth.
I'm also in the process of developing an art website with a few friends that hopefully will become a success somewhere down the line. We're currently completely recoding everything and cleaning up old code to fit our new UI that we've came up with and hope to have a live beta for the public available in Q3 of this year! I'll post more about that when the release date is closer though.
So yeah, ask me anything you want and I'll try and answer to the best of my knowledge!
Oh, and before I forget! To pronounce my username it's pronounced "Tear-oh-pus". The 'p' is silent!
