hey there bros

im having a little trouble launching/connecting to my minecraft server
see heres the thing ---> ive dowloaded the launcher, i have an account, and all the basics

only thing is, every time i go to log on to the server, the launcher keeps notifying me that it cant connect to minecraft.net
so i dont know what to do or how to fix it, if any of u bros can suggest why my problem is why it it, and how to fix it, that would be greatly appreciated,
