I made this myself, trying to humanize Stephano! It's branched out into a whole 4 other fictions and a multi-chapter!
Tell me what you think! I'd love to see Felix read it, even better if he read it during Fridays with Pediepie!
It was always the same, really.
I'd be waiting for him in the
depths of a custom story, on a shelf, box, or barrel, perhaps even
tucked away in a chest or among unread notes upon a desk. Sometimes they
placed me conveniently at the entrance, lantern and oil at my side,
awaiting him.
Awaiting Pewdiepie.
Then he'd say those age old words.
"Oh, look, we get the lantern already! It's always nice to get it this early on...and oil, gimmie that! I wonder if w--STEPHANO!!"
We
were always together, the best of bros. Lantern in right hand, I in his
left, and Ladnadnadinum in his inventory (not to mention those useless
tinderboxes), we could set out on our new adventures. Adventures in
which he would scream like a freakin' girl.
We'd waste the lantern the who way, we didn't care!
I'd be there when he ran out of oil and had to go looting for more.
I've been hit against doors and walls, tossed at poofers and sacrificed
to Bros, imitated in copper and even left behind when Pewdie moved on to
the next loading screen and ultimately the next level. With each
adventure came a new scratch or dent in my golden form, but they were
scars of toil and triumph.
Pewdie was never really alone when he
came for me either. There was always that tiny window above his left
shoulder, filled with the eager faces of his fans, his 'Bro Army'. They
admired me as much as Pewdie, made me masterpieces of fanart, though
they sometimes made very odd requests to shove things within Piggeh and
spin various wheels. An, Cutiepie! I remember when I first set solid
gold eyes on her, side by side with my Pewdiepie. How charming, what a
pair!
But I knew Pewdie was the only one for me. Thousands of
other PC gamers came before, always rifling through drawers and looting,
tossing me down in the process and ignoring me completely. I was just a
prop back then, simply part of the game. No name, simply the tiny gold
statue with a tiny golden sword. Then Pewdiepie played, and when he had
to choose a friend to carry and hold through the jumpscares, he chose
me. He picked me up, turned me about and said, "I think we should call
him...Stephano."
And so I was christened. I was made useful, I
was turned to for guidance. Pewdie changed me from a lonely little
frenchman lazing about in a castle into the symbol for an army a hundred
thousand strong. I had purpose, because he changed my life.
I always listen for him.
I always wait.
I await the hour when I'm pulled down from the shelf to start an adventure anew.
"Allos, Pewdie."
