Pokemon remains one my guilty pleasures, but even so, I have to admit that I don't enjoy it for the same reasons I did when I was a little kid. While I still get a kick out of the Gameboy games, the old magic has been replaced by simple nostalgic enjoyment, and a bit of a competitive flavour. This is likely the same for many older Pokemon fans, and is only natural; over time, priorities shift, our goals change.

But what happens when the older, more win-oriented player clashes with the newest generation of kid Pokefan who just likes it for its own sake?
