Pewdie, you may or may not have played this as a young'un. I've heard you humming the lost woods tune and you tweeted those western Zelda YouTube videos, so I know you like LoZ. :)

This game is fairly different in plot from the standard game starring Link: there's no Zelda to save, nor is it set in Hyrule. The originality of the three-day cycle is astounding and causes quite a bit of loveable frustration during gameplay. There are lots of puzzles but I don't think it's too much for you. ;)

IT'S DANGEROUS TO PLAY ALONE, TAKE THIS WIKI EXCERPT!
Majora's Mask is the sixth installment in The Legend of Zelda series and the second using 3D graphics, the first being The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the game's predecessor. Majora's Mask is set in Termina, an alternate version of the usual series setting of Hyrule, where the Skull Kid has stolen Majora's Mask, a powerful ancient artifact. Under its influence, the Skull Kid causes the land's moon to slowly fall towards Termina, where it crashes after three days. The main protagonist Link repeatedly travels back in time to the beginning of the three days to find a way to stop the moon from destroying the planet.

The gameplay is centered on the perpetually repeating three-day cycle and the use of various masks, some of which allow Link to transform into different beings. Link learns to play several melodies on his ocarina, which have a variety of effects like controlling the flow of time or opening passages to four temples, which house challenges Link must overcome. [...] Majora's Mask was well received by critics, who praised the graphics and complex story.

It's originally for the N64 but I was able to buy it on the Wii and play it with a GameCube controller. I'm not sure how you record the Wii (emulator or otherwise) or if it's possible for you to play this game but I think it's a perfect game for you. Here are some silly non-reasons you should play:

+I wouldn't call it horror but there are definitely some extra creepy aspects, like, say, a giant, horrifying moon constantly looming in the sky.
+Also, it's a fairly lengthy game but doesn't require extraordinary amounts of commitment.
+There are plenty of graphics to make fun of and tons of material for you to make your silly comments about.
+The land of Termina is barrel-free! Yes, you heard me, there are only crates which you will befriend seeing as they hold health and monies.

    Here's a video:

It's the very beginning so there are no real spoilers here but, on the flip side, this is only a brief look into the gameplay. It becomes more and more complex the longer you play it.

And, unfortunately, my brother made the purchase so I don't know where exactly you would get it, but if you'd like to play it, I'd be happy to find out.

    Happy gaming!
