    • Hi everybody!

Hi guys, my name is coyootje.

I'm relatively new at pewdiepie's channel, but I do really like his video's. That's why I bought Amnesia, but now I have a question: how do you get custom stories for Amnesia?

Because I do really like the custom stories like Nintendo castle horror...

Anyways, what I'm looking for at this forum is custom stories and nice discussions about Pewdie's vid's.
    • Hi coyootje

You will have to download custom stories from the internet. For example at PewDiePie's website or the website called Moddb.com
After that, you extract them into your Amnesia Custom stories folder:

If you have it on steam: Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/common/Amnesia the dark decent/custom stories

If you have the retail version I believe it's: Program Files/Amnesia the dark decent/redist/custom stories (Im not sure since I have got the steam version)

After that is done, you should be able to launch the custom story from your amnesia game ;)
    • Thanks for the help, since I have the retail version I used the second explanation.
When I started up Amnesia for the first time, it all looked blurry. I changed the settings so that the blurryness was gone. The problem I've got after doing this is that my map is bugged, and I can e.g. look trough walls, fall out of the map and there are stairs everywhere. Does this mean I have to restart the custom story?
    • Hey and welcome =)

Some custom stories require Justine,so make sure you updated your amnesia.

And it also could be that the custom story is a huge fail or some of the files got corrupted by the download.(I sometimes fall randomly into no where O.o)
You might want to look for custom stories with a good rate.

(Another little thing) Some custom stories are to big for the custom story folder also known as full conversion mods, so that means you just put all the files in the redist folder and launch it with the batch file.

      Goodluck!
