How to install? (Amnesia Custom stories)

Regular
- Download the Custom story
- Open it up via winrar or winzip
- Open another window and go to your amnesia custom stories folder.
Steam: Program files - Steam - Steamapps - common - amnesia the dark decent
Retail: Program files - Frictional games - Amnesia the dark decent - redist (please don't quote me on this, I don't have retail and not sure how this one works, from here on in it's the same for both versions.) IF YOU DON'T HAVE A CUSTOM STORIES FOLDER ALREADY, MAKE A NEW FOLDER IN THE DIRECTORY CALLED "custom_stories".
- Now drag the folder that contains the files for the custom story you just downloaded over to the custom story folder.

- You're done!



Full Conversions
- Find a custom story you would like to download.
- Download and extract it via winzip or winrar, then click the custom story name twice and it will show you the contents,

- In another window go to your root directory for Amnesia The Dark Decent. Which would be
Steam: Program files - Steam - Steamapps - common - amnesia the dark decent
Retail: Program files - Frictional games - Amnesia the dark decent - redist (please don't quote me on this)
- Now merge the folders from the story you just downloaded into the folders in the directory.

Now keep in mind that these folders can range from particles to entities. MAKE SURE TO MERGE THE MAPS FOLDER ASWELL.
- The total conversion should come with a .bat file. Put that into the directory of Amnesia as well.
- Once that is done just double click the .bat file and you're done!
