[SOLVED] Sony Vegas loves to goof.

Can someone give me some proper render settings for 720p while maintaining good quality for Sony Vegas?

It managed to turn a 10mb video with a picture (chromakey stuff) into a cluster[intercourse] of a whopping 1.2 gig , yes , you heard it right. From 10 to 1200 , no big problems ... naaaaaaaaaaaaaah... only the output is like 120x the original size.

So yeah , can someone help me out with this stuff?

I don't use Sony Vegas anymore but I did :P. I got 1080 full hd clips for about 500-700mb. Under gigabyte is just good. But the file it's going to be rendered is WMV. Other stuff I remember is: Go to file---> Properties--->Templates (dropdown menu) And you select the stuff from there which you probably did. Oh what the hell, I found the tutorial i used to get my videos on low file size and hd: youtube.com/watch?v=5dh5VTjY_fY

These are the settings I use.
The Sony AVC format is rendered in an h.264 codec,
which is what Youtube uses. Therefore, it uploads faster to the site.

I've had these settings for a while and it does near perfect quality, but with a decent filesize.
Just my recommendation.

Goofed around with settings and optimized .wmv , 10mb > 3mb in 720p , anyway thank you for all the replies.

PC no likey AVC btw. :V
