Zombie Apocalypse (roleplay)

All right, Julien.

*stops playing ping-pong with the wall and goes upstairs to his bedroom, laying on his bed, playing some games on his laptop*

Can't wait for tonight..we shall test that warmachine.

I saw Julien walk out of the front door, going past the truck that I was still hugging. I stopped acting like a weirdo and called out to him and Mac.

'Hey! Can I come with? Safety in numbers!' I called catching up with him.

"Sure Anna, I could use some compagny.."

"Hey Anna, what do you think of all those newcomers..? Don't you think we're with too many people..?"

I put my hands in my pockets.

'Well yeah, but these days I'm glad. Me and my brother always used to joke about the zombie apocolypse, and about he would be the only one in our family to survrive and we wouldn't find many people at all... But of course it had to be the opposite. All those zombie games my brother used to play, they didn't help at all. And way more eople found us than expected... You?'

I walk around throwing a stick away for Mac.

"I don't know, I'm glad there are survivors, don't get me wrong, but I like the group we started with, like when I joined you guys. It was a small group, and now it only goes bigger and bigger.. I don't know what to think about all this. It's confusing."

I nodded.

'Same. I'm glad I found a group. And someone the same age as me like you. Ahaa, I remember when we first met. I hated the zombies, but loved the adreniline...I kind of miss the action sometimes.'

Yea, the group is fantastic. You know, when there is a zombie in front of me, I go blind, I get flashbacks to what happened, I lose all control and just hit it as hard as I can, I don't think that it was a human, because it isn't anymore.. It's insane what this all can do to you.. I'm not even proud of it..

I stopped and faced Julien. I hugged him. I could only imagine what constant flashbacks felt like... Especially of those with your friends dying. I don't really remember much of what happened that day, I tryed to block it out ever since it happened, so there is really not much to mourn about.. I can't stand it when I see people close to me upset.

'I'm so sorry.. I can't even think about what constantly seeing those images right in front of you feels like'.

"It's nothing compared to what you've been trough.. that is way worse, I'm sorry about that."

Parents was a though subject to talk about, I didn't tell anyone about mine, because that was not worth it. i don't even know where they were, or if they're even alive.. I know nothing about them actually. I thought.

I looked to Mac.

"You had any pets back then?" I asked Anna.

I started walking again.

'Yeah. A cat. A REALLY fat cat', I laughed.
'He was called Twig. My brother named him. He just ran away on the day the walkers came...just as any scared animal would do. I'm not sure where he is, but, buy it would be hilarious if HE came back as a zombie-cat'.
'How did you find your way to the hotel?'

"Haha, wauw, love the name. That would be sick, a zombie cat, but I think that animals are immuun for the effects, but not sure about that."

"The only thing I can remember is that I just ran, no particular direction, it is a pretty big blur.." How about you?

'Hahaa, thanks.'
'The day it happened... I was in my house with my family. The windows got smashed open. We have 3 floors in my house, I was in the top, In the office that we converted from an old attic. It was closed off by a fire door so I closed myself in and barricaded the doors with whatever i could find and waited until they left... that took around 3 hours though... My uncle did fox hunting for a hobby, a had a gun store, not far from my house. I left and realised that the zombies on my road were my family... I took the machete from my kitchen, and silently managed to avoid most of them.. the only zombie I killed was my brother... I brought a bag and made my way to the store, I took as much as I could carry... The reason I loved that pair of magnums so much, was that one was my dad's, and one was my uncle's. They used to go shooting with each other... That's why I took those guns every where with me. That one I gave you, was my uncles...'

*In my room in the mansion, reading some books and playing Single Player games on my laptop*

"Eh... I'm bored, I wonder what I was doing down in those labs before the parasite was released."

I walked up to my room, tired from an afternoon of modifying the bus. I opened the door to my room, and saw a wrapped turqoiuse package lying on my bed. I walked over to it and opened it. It was a portrait of me. I smiled. Annah must have done this, it seemed. I couldn't think of anybody else who would've made a portrait of me. I smiled at the painting. It was good to know Annah didn't hate me, especially after what happened with jenkins. I hung it up on the wall, and got a good look at it by stepping backwards. It was a pretty good likeness. It was hard to believe Annah had done this from memory. I wondered if she had made portraits? I would ask her tomorrow, as well as thanking her. I decided I'd have a rest tonight, clean my shotgun and winchester, read a book, have a meal with friends, and then go to sleep. I had never felt this relaxed since the start of the apocalypse. This place seemed too good to be true. I walked around, until I found Alex, and asked,"Do you know if this place has a liberary? I'd like to relax and I wondered if there were any books to read. Oh, and if you need any help testing the bus, count me up for it. It'll be nice seeing the fruits of our labours in practice."

There's a library on the first floor.

*hears the door and goes downstairs*

*sees the door is just moving by itself, from the wind, as it was opened*

*looks outside of the door, seeing Katy running*

How many times do I have to tell them..tell ME before you leave. *thinks to himself*

*closes the door, going upstairs to get his shotgun*
