Howdie!
Welcome to PewDiePies technical support, how can I help you?

Making this thread in hopes of answering the most common technical questions I get asked on YouTube.
If you want to send me a PM please read through this first and you might find what you're looking for.

How do you put facecam in the corner?
I record webcam and video with different software (look below) then edit them together after I'm done recording. If you're new to editing I recommend trying Sony Vegas. I'ts not super difficult, you can mess around with the software a bit and I'm sure after a while you'll figure it out.
(I know I'm being super helpful here :D)

Hardware I use:
Headphones: Razer Electra, Razer Carcharias
Microphone: Samson C01U.
Self built computer: (i7, GTX 460 | GeForce, Corsair 6GB, R3 case, Asus P6T SE) Also known as "Bettan".
Laptop: Asus G53SX-S1139V
Webcam: Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000
Recording on Console: Hauppauge PVR

Software I use:
Fraps (Settings) - Recording Gameplay.
Logitech Webcam Software - Recording Webcam and Audio.
Adobe Premiere Pro CS5- Editing Video.
Adobe Photoshop CS5- Graphics and mostly thumbnails.

Note: I see so many people on YouTube buying expensive microphones or headphones to get started on YouTube and then they ask me why they don't have any viewers. Well, building an audience takes a lot of time I would recommend start making videos with whatever you have and see if you like it first. If you get really into it you could always get better equipment/software.

Most importantly: make videos because you enjoy making them, if you have any other ambitions then you're doing it wrong.

Can you also list what webcam you use specifically? Been thinking about getting one, I know you use Logitech :3

i've found this thread on your youtube page,and since a post is less annoying than a PM on youtube (though)..., i decided to register and ask you here (its not on the list above).. :
from what ive seen,you've played a wii game (the grudge i believe)-did you use a wii emulator,or did you record it on the wii itself? if you recorded it on the wii, could you tell me what you've used?

Hey Pewdie! Thanks for this I was really looking for a software to record my logitech 9000 webcam. And I was wondering if you do all of your photoshopping and thumbnails and art by yourself. Im not saying that youre not an amazing artist, im just wondering if you had help because it's a ton of work to make all of those pictures yourself. And i know this isnt the place to do it but I saw on indiegames a new game that they said was similar to slender called the corridor. Im also going to make a post on the game request forum.

He might not be using an emulator, I'd imagine he probably has a screen capture card or something similar.
A friend of mine has one, that's how he records his xbox 360 footage.

Pewdie, You may want to list what kind of capture device you have for that, also. :3

I am definitely getting those just with a better video card and a different case that I will like more and probably add some fan lights Neon green LEDs

^Just in case you don't know, Electra is for music, that's why Pewdie is really screaming by a little shot from a shotgun cuz' it's so loud and it doesn't have a mic I think.xD
