Garry's Mod Worth Buying?

Garry's Mod. Is it worth getting? I ask because it's on sale for $2.49 for the next eleven hours and it SEEMS like it should be awesome, but I'm not sure. Should I buy it or is it a total flop in some peoples' opinions?

I will add a poll to make this easier and simpler.

Hm....I love GMod, but I'm not sure if you would feel the same.
Rememebr, GMod has no objective whatsoever but to screw around and build shit to expand your imagination and stuff. Preferably with friends online. Since it won't really spoil anything, look up some gameplay. I honestly love it. Oh, and by the way, you need either HL2 otr CSS for it. I bought the GMod+CSS bundle.

Yeah Gmod is pretty fun, its a good sandbox game

Well, looking like I am not going to get it, just due to the fact I don't have either of the source games necessary for it. Thanks for those who gave their input here.
