New Youtube Livestream Feature?

So, recently, a new notification on my channel page caught my attention, here is what it said:

Has anyone else been seeing this on their channel? I've talked a couple people and they haven't gotten this notification. I'm monetized, so it might have to do with that? I don't really know. I do know recently that partners of some companies have recently been "beta testing" a youtube streaming feature, but I don't know if this is related or not. So, who else has seen this on their channel?

i have and I am testing it right now. Will tell you what it does soon

EDIT: It is just a chat room with video and microphone.... You can show your youtube vids on there but only people that join your "Hangout" can see it

Isn't that just a dumb feature from google+? Google hangout?

I had a look at it too, all excited. Then realized all you can do is watch a video with everyone, I could see how that could be fun for some purposes, I was just hoping for more of an actual livestream functionality.

Yeah except YouTube just started advertising it

would make sense , since Google bought youtube. Sadly they are decieving people for "misusing" the term livestreaming.
