Any tips on attracting Subscribers?

What's up guys.

Okay, so I'm constantly being told I deserve so many more subscribers than I have, but I'm only gaining one or two a day. My current method is to just keep putting out videos in the hopes people will discover me. I have tracked down some other youtubers at around the 10-20,000 subs mark and tried to get them to notice me but so far nothing has come of it.

So what I want to know is if you guys have any ideas on how to get my channel out there? Also, check out my vids if you want

honestly bro i don't know that much...I'm trying to get noticed too but all i can say is just to put out good vids and make sure the other bros check out this thread...its kinda sad but it seems like a lot people on this forum don't check out peoples post if they don't know you, don't care, or you don't do a livestream >.> anyway I'll check out your channel...GL guitar terrorist! lol

I have been on YouTube since 2006 and I went from under 100 to over 200 in couple of months by making a parody of Minecraft.

My suggestion is to make a video about something popular within the theme of your channel. Play new video game releases and such.

But honestly there isn't any magical solution to spike subscribers up for sure.

Well I started out doing Minecraft and Amnesia, but that is so wrote at the moment I just deleted the vids and started doing more obscure and flash games. It's helped a lot, but people aren't really searching for those kind of games. My Walking Dead and Slender and SCP vids worked a lot too. I guess I just need to keep at it!

On a side note, anyone know how to make an intro? Is there a special program to use or something?

Quality video, no framerate problems, funny commentary and games the masses want.

Ask people with higher or with the same subscriber amount and ask for Shout4shout and box4box.

Yeah, indeed. When I made the video about Endermen, there weren't many videos of the topic. So it's important to be unique and... Welp... First.

Wow protag I just watched your June highlights video, that was awesome. It looked very professional and was very funny. I think if you keep up the work you could do very well! I subbed.

Here's what worked for me in the past: I had an FB anime page with around 5k likes and when I started on my youtube channel, I linked my let's plays to it in a separate tab, similar audience i guess
In other words, find a way to get popular off youtube (on here for example), then run that poularity over to youtube
great content always helps though

I'm about to go to work but when I get back I will check out your channel. :>

I'm also in the process of trying to expand our audience, we've had our channel for 3 months and we currently have 14 subs. I can't say this is advice because I'm still inexperienced but I try to post links to our channel on websites I'm part of (Tumblr, Twitter, etc), I think it's working somewhat. If you have any accounts on other sites, give it a shot!
