    • Resident Evil 6 - DUNDUNDUN

I vaccumed and scavaged the whole forum, and I couldn't find any
thread about Resident Evil 6 so from there I went!
      Release Date: October 2, 2012

As we a know Resident Evil is a game with many faces and additional orientations.

That's why Capcom decided to incorporate all of the (Or most of the) orientations at once.
A game where you'll be able to choose from a select of three different scenarios. All with their own flare.
When it's said to be three times longer than Resident Evil 5, it's really three games in one!

      Scenario I
-Leon S. Kennedy and Helena Harper-
In the United States the President is eager to come clean with what really
happend in Racoon City. But nothing ever goes smooth and he and his
staff are exposed to a bioterrorist attack. The only survivors - Leon S. Kennedy
and the presidents personal bodyguard Helena Harper, are destined to find out
what happened. This scenario will promise classic, gothic fear. Sweaping shadows,
flashlights and creeky floorboards. Much as seen in the E3 Gameplay.

      Scenario II
      -Chris Redfield and Piers Nivans-
Meanwhile in Asia Chris is moaning about his past experiences
in the previous games. He soaks his pain with booze and so on.
Eventually he is forced to shape up when Piers, his fellow soldierbud informs
him about a conspiracy involvning the new zombie-race J'avo. Similar to the Uroboros.
They can use weapons and other fun stuff. This campaign is similar to Resident Evil 5.
Quick action scenes and cooperation between Chris and Piers will be promised.

      Scenario III
      -Jake Muller and Sherry Birkin-
There isn't a calm corner left in the world when things are going
down in the Eastern Europe. The new character Jake Muller (Son of Albert Wesker) - OOOOOH
Will have to team up with Sherry Birkin, now working for the U.S Government.
Sherry's ordered to keep Jake alive at any cost. Together they are forced to flee
the streets from a tyrannic demon called Ustanak. Playing this scenario will
promise classic panic-fear. Where you'll have the almost invincible Ustanak at your feet.

Are you excited about it? Which scenario are you longing for to play?
      Please Share! :D
(I'm most excited to play the Jake and Sherry scenario with my twin-sister. I wanted to do the Leon and Helena scenario.
But my sister claims that Helena looks like a desperete housewife, and she shared that she didn't ever wanna play
      Helena in the a future. :< )

    • Chris Redfield got really buffed up on the steroids.
I don't care about Sherry and Jake.
Leon likes to sound like a seal when killed.

I have to go with leon our baby harp seal who gets "clubbed" down frequently.

Actually RE 6 is just going to be another step away from the "original franchise" , where you REALLY HAD TO SURVIVE instead of the joy of overpowered weapons and a huge abbundance of ammo. Also piece by piece the RPG elements get stripped off and get replaced with some CoD like action (the Director even said that RE 6 would be targeted at those who play the "mainstream" FPS' and give them a welcoming feel). I miss the old days where you shat brix when you had a pistol with 5 bullets and then a zombie dog bursted through the window and you were in shock and wasted the whole clip of ammo. I miss the running past zombies parts where you shat bricks and just hoped that they wouldn't grab you and suck the life outta you. What happened to the damn crimson heads , most likely one of the most fearsome characters of the whole franchise. Why would you say? Because the developers thought it was funny by working with the "3 times a charm" saying. (Alive -Dead- Zombie -Dead- Crimson Head -Dead-) Not only did they reanimate a reanimated corpse , they made it frikking tough as frikking nails also. Resident Evil 4 was a fresh break from the actual survival games and a piece of eye-candy also with Leon dieing in all sorts of fashions. But it went downhill at RE5 , story wasn't Resident Evilish , abundance of ammo and OP weapons which only made the game fun playing with your friend on Hard or Professional , mainly due to the fact the other modes were too easy and there were plenty of damn ammo. I actually don't know what to expect from RE6 , since it got a steroid shot mixed with some adrenaline and chuck norris dumped in the kettle. Its more turning into an action spectacle instead of the thing RE stood famous for. They stripped all the tense moments outta it and replaced it with more shooting. The only main reason and probs the only reason why I'm getting this is due to the story (If you can look through all the steroids and such) and being a Resident Evil fan... although lately I'm thinking to stick it with the oldies.I'm not getting my hopes up with RE6 since I don't believe they are gonna follow their own words and possibly making the 2 "classic" stories easy as hell on the hardest difficulty.

Its kinda sad that they replace the good ol' zombie with various B.O.W.'s (Las Plagas etc.)

PS. I want frikking Wesker (and not his damn son) back , his death resulted in a huge fan backlash.

    • They definitely have toned back on Chris Redfields muscles. :p
I can agree that Resident Evil now is not the same Resident Evil as back then.
Maybe we'll never experience that again. I surely don't mind Resident Evil Now.

I do like though the number of characters you get to see in the
game and the variety of characters to choose from.

And I forgot to add: You'll be able to aim and walk at the same time.
