Probably. I've seen folks around begging all of their followers to rush the boards and hit the like button on theirs as if it were a popular vote. It's a shame, but don't let it bother you. Doesn't really make a difference, so let them if they want. It's all good.

Just as everyone stated above, probably just some haters doing their thing or people who are just jealous over your content. Dislikes won't affect your submission in the competition. At the end of the day, Pewdiepie will still choose who he thinks deserves the shoutout.

I've seen people begging for thumbs up, doesn't seem to end too well for them when they got down-voted instead. As you have said I'm sure Pewds will choose who deserves it, not who has loads of up-votes.

Yeah I think the truth is Papa-Pewds probobly will pay very very little attention to thumbs and just watch video you know? So it might all be pointless for people being like that.

Disliking posts has nothing to do wih chance. As stated earlier, Felix will judge them his own way, so no wories about what others think. I bet some users even used bots to like their own submissions.

it seems like the earlier the entries were, the more hate they got. i don't know if that's just because more people saw them or if people are mad they didn't get on the first page.

Even so, it's better not to rely on this competition too much as there is still a possibility that you may not get chosen, so don't let that bring you down. Instead, try other ways to get your name out there, either by social medias, being apart of communities and so on. Slowly but surely, you'll start growing for sure. Good luck in both the competition and in your channel!
