A Few Underground (Not Literally) Horror Games I Recommend!

OKAY, firstly i'd like to point out that these are not the best horror games out there. Though, some of the ones that are really popular aren't very good...

Secondly, I have no clue if these have been suggested but I personally enjoyed these games... sooooo, here:

1. Scratches (wikipedia page because I can't find any links) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scratches_(video_game)

Mini Summary - Based in Rothbury in England, 1976. You play as Michael Arthate, who is an author who wanted some privacy to finish his book (a lot like the movie 'Author' I believe it's called) and as weird things continue to happen, he feels the need to invesgate the house rather than finish writing.

2. Call of Cthulu: Dark Corners of the Earth (once again, wiki page... might as well do this for all of them) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Call_of_…Dark_Corners_of_the_Earth

Mini Summary - (For PC and XBOX) Okay, so, I know it sounds kind of humorous if you know the story behind Cthulu, but this game looks pretty good, honestly. I haven't got a chance to play or find it, but if you manage to, please tell us how it is.

EDIT - Read the wiki page, I don't know about the game too much.

3. System Shock 2 (sshock2.com/)

Mini Summary - This game is rare to come by. Last I heard it was being sold for $200 on ebay. Yeah. If you have it, YOU ARE LUCKY. Anyways, this game is a 4 player RPG style horror sc-fi game. Kind of weird, amirite? Though, the game is freaking great. I thought so anyways. Don't expect great graphics and all because this game was made in 1999.

4. White Day: A Labyrinth Named School (giantbomb.com/whiteday-a-labyrinth-named-school/61-14637/)

Mini Summary - A Korean horror game made in 2001. This game reminds me of Ju-On the Grudge except it wasn't made for the wii. Lol. The plot is pretty weird, but check it out above. ^

5. The Path (tale-of-tales.com/ThePath/)

Mini Summary - Supposedly a short game, but from reviews I hear it's great. I haven't played it but from what I read it's based off of older versions of Little Red Riding Hood.

So, there ya go. If you have any other games to suggest I'd be glad to research them and throw them into this list so we can compile a big list of unkown, underground horror games.

Not to be mean or anything,but all of these have been already mentioned, also, Cthulu: Dark Corners of the Earth not really horror in my case, but thats just me. Keep trying im sure youll find something.

Its based on H.P Lovecrafts books (Shadow over Innsmouth) , and it is horror , the game screws around with your mind rather then focussing on jumpscares.

But seriously now, the game didnt manage to mess with my mind, i guess my mind is fucked up already -_- shame, cause i loved lovecrafts books.

I own Call of Cthulhu and can say that it is a pretty good game. It is a psychological horror game though, so if that kinda thing doesn't scare you...

And i'm not sure, but i've heard english versions of White Day are rare and really buggy.

Jump scares scare me the most, honestly. Only when given in the right amount. I don't find psychological horror scary, I find it really interesting.

Just looked at the title and I actually have to disagree about the "underground" part. It's actually really easy to find if you browse on the internet a lot.
