I tried to have a swedish friend of mine teach me. It's been over a year now and i still remember things, like jag älskar dig, bajs, fitta, knulla, and i can understand some simple things. Best would be to make yourself, whenever possible, communicate in swedish. Talk to the swedes in the forum, after a few months you'll probably have picked up a lot and you'll remember it cuz you actually spoke to people using it

I wanted to learn Swedish too, but I just don't have the nerves to learn a new language... Good luck anyway though.

Haha, great words you remember there... xD But I'd say that the way to go probably is to talk with swedes (like myself, haha) and learn from someone born with the language. I have a hard time believe that there is text books and stuff teaching you Swedish as it is such a small language, so it'll be hard to study alone, as long as you don't study in Sweden.
So, get some swedes to talk to, maybe look for a youtube video, and keep communicating!

It's my best swede friend that taught me and she knew exactly what I wanted to know anyway. If I ever go to Sweden, I'll be able to have a nice conversation no problem

I'm actually good at it. Some say talented for it but i think i could squeeze Swdish in,if only i had the will too. I don't like it, and it's one of the hardest languages to learn.
