  • Video file shrinkers.

    So yeah , I have a huge list of Anime episodes which I want to dump on my android phone , but the problem is that it is still quite large after I converted it with a converter (AVS VC). So I'm asking if someone knows a good program to make the filesize smaller without losing (any) quality. So yeah , If you know a good one , please tell me.



  • It depends on the file format. Also, the chance of decreasing the file size and keeping it around/near the same quality is near impossible. Though, lowering the quality wouldn't really be THAT bad, as long as you can make out whats happening. (As in, if the Anime is subbed, being able to read the english captions.)

    actually there are programs who can shrink stuff for like 20%-40% without any quality being lost , but the only programs I know work only on DVD's/ISO's

  • Im sure i had a tool like what your asking for laying around on my harddrive, but i just reformatted so its lost, If you dont mind having to mess with around 7+ settings for each thing you want change im sure you wont mind, ive never suffered any loss in shrinking videos, actually, ive converted youtube 240 Flv's To Dvix Avi with "some" loss of quality, but there was no pixlation on my 21inch tv. When i find it, ill edit this post.


    Edit: The name of the program i use is Pazera Video Converters suite, as long as you maintain the videos aspect ratio you shouldnt lose any quality when shrinking it down, at least i didnt lose hardly anything when shrinking my video down to the size of my old 128*128 mp4 players screen XD I watched the movie where jackie chan was baby sitting some kids, dont really remember the name of it.
