New users and How Other Users act after they are granted admin chat powers

  • all that stool said about newfags is true, i used to talk in the shoutbox but since some newfags i don't know (especially timmy) spam that box i don't feel like talking in there anymore mostly because when i type something it's gone in 5 sec.

  • It's more than interesting to see this thread coming from you. You're known as the master of shitstorms, at least for people that have been active here longer. I won't name any of those things you did because it might cause you to relive a painful memory, but you know what I mean.
    Every user is the same on here, users who were active on here since the beginning won't be seen as any better than the new users that register every day are. The shoutbox is a place for everyone to chat, if you want to have super-serious private chats use an instant messenger instead.
    And about limiting, that wouldn't change anything, it just would make the new users feel minor, which isn't what we want, since every user is welcome here as long as he behaves. Old users sometimes can be even worse than new users.
    Stewl, you started more than one "rebellion" already, so I guess you don't like the forums - if that's so, why don't you just leave? Everyone is free to leave and join whenever he wants to.

    KeRix i dont know if you realised. But The last Shitstorm I started was a Long time Ago, I'm not going to leave this forum. there is to many friends of mine in here. I know that you dont really like me and what I do, as well as i know i was causing the same problems. Allright I got my lessons, But I know that you dont like it either when some new user that doesnt even know you says stuff like SHUT UP BITCH, FUCK YOU IDIOT etc. No one likes it. Thats what I am talking about see. I am not talking about the GOOD part of the forums. Just guys that Come here for ONE DAY just to say I LOVE YOU PEWDIE or just to make a shitstorm. I know right that that some new users are nice and know how to act. But some others DONT know how to act and thats what I'm trying to show right ?

    Maybe m can somehow add a rule-set to the shout box that if someone types 5 massages in a short time they get a time-out for 5 minutes or so.

    depends , since this can maybe also ruin the "normal" shoutbox aswell. we also already have a shoutbox cooldown though. Maybe that one can be a tad bigger.

  • Stewl, I'm not meaning to be a dick or anything, but it's as M says, you have been notorious for starting up drama in the shoutbox.
    And as for the "newfags" (or as I prefer to call them, new users) we've all been there at least once in our lives. Give them a break, yes, it's annoying, but they're just showing their love and appreciation for Pewdie in their own way.
    As for the shoutbox, people come and go all the time, it's simple. If you don't like someone, don't talk to them. The site wasn't build for specific people, it was built for everyone, limiting features would isolate people. We have our own little groups and such that we talk in, but they're always expanding. It's like being at school and saying "I'm not gonna talk to the new kid".

    i'm not sure if that can work with this shoutbox, because it's not build to be a chat service.

    I dont know if you realise but i pointed out EVERYTHING that you just said. I've BEEN which means I changed thats a fact. And now I'm trying to TALK about problems on the forums NOT SHITSTORM ffs. So stop raging on me and give some ideas
