Yeah, Death Note is a very cool anime, the storyline is brilliant.
I adore the idea of Angel Beats as well, it's definitely in my top 3, if not my favourite.
I also like a looot of romantic animes - the list is too long. But some good examples are Kaichou wa Maid-sama and Say I love you. ♥

If you can count Pokemon a anime ... then its my favorite anime...

I like DeathNote beacuse first, Light is an evil genius and L is cooler than beans.
I also like Hetalila i like it because it keeps the bondnme and my friend have. We always talk about it and now we classifoed eachother. Im Norway for any of u asking......

yeah the ending wasn't perfect! i didn't like it when L died!! Gaara is my fav charecter in naruto he's so kawai and badass in a same time

My favorite anime is One Piece and I like it because it has alot of depth in it, the mysteries, the adventure, the fun and the bad times that they had, when you look back upon it, you'll smile and think "Ah, what a wonderful story!" The art might not be perfect but the message they are trying to convey is just one meaningful sentence, 'Work towards your dreams no matter how hard it is' or maybe 'treasure your friends' All the characters are very cool too, and they have really good inspiration quotes, and not to mention that they are constantly making progress and the characters are well-developed

It's a bit girly I guess but Clannad and Clannad After Story hold a special place in my heart. I also love Chobits because it's an interesting look at AI and how it could develop alongside humans.

Kuroko no Baskue as it was the first series i ever watched

Favorite - One Piece. I'm in love with story (so many great adventures, fights, etc) and characters.
Best anime I ever watched - Monster. Plot is masterpiece. If you compare Death Note with Monster... well, DN is NOTHING, just story for kids.

my favorite anime would always be Mirai Nikki.

Fairy Tail, no question. In my opinion, it has some of the best characters to ever be in an anime, they're relatable and can be both serious and humourous. I think the backstory and depth they give each character is amazing and the plotline, although not really connected heavily between arcs, is still very fluid and doesn't feel repetitive.

Code geass cause the series got a unique type of twist
Naruto cause its been 8 years or more and its been a connection between me and the charcter and the complex powers and the deep story line
