Recording PS4 Gameplay

    Hey guys,

    Recently got a cheap enough ps4 and decided that I want to record a few gameplay videos but the video is choppy/Laggy and sometimes pixelated

    I'm using Roxio HD PRO , and some ebay hdmi splitter.

    I think I have to use the splitter because of the HDCP but could that be the problem ?
    Any help will be greatly appreciated !

  • First thing's first, check that the splitter outputs perfectly on both ports, plug it into two screens and see if they're identical and don't suffer from degradation. Easy check so you might as well rule it out early on.

    And then list off your PC specs.

    The splitter works good, I checked it on two laptops.

    My pc specs are:

    Graphics : Gtx 560 ti
    Cpu: Amd Phenom 2 X4 840 (I know is kinda shit)
    OS Win 8 64bit
    4gb Ram

    I mean the pc itself is not great but I think think dont thats the problem, I read somewhere that the sony are getting rid of the hdcp in their future update ? anyone can confirm that ?
