Hi so, i've been using this laptop since beginning of 2011 and i just wanted to see other opinions. The laptop is called: ASUS N53JF-SX091V
I think it's great but was heavily overpriced (950 euros!) but sadly my knowledge of PC's wasn't high enough back then to realize that building PC's is cheaper and better
But anyway here are the specs:

      Windows 8 Pro 64-bit
      Intel i5 460m 2.53 ghz
Nvidia GEFORCE GT 425m CUDA 1GB
      4GB DDR3 RAM
The original 640gb HDD broke after being overheated but thank god my friend gave me for free a 160gb HDD and i myself bought a external HDD 1tb on USB 3.0
      15.4 inch screen 1366x768 resolution 16:9
It has the Nvidia Optimus technology to increase it's battery life (altough it isn't great, about 3 hours on internet when fully charged)
It has a nice Bang & Olufsen ICEPpower audio with Sonicmaster which increases the audio quality

so yeah thats basically all i can tell since it's a laptop.
      It's running BF3 just above 30 fps and SR4 on 40-50 fps.

      thanks in advance :)

    • Cpu= Not, to bad and not to great. If you have the correct series number then that is pretty outdated.
Graphics= Could be better. Good for entry level in games but if you want to increase graphic quality then it will be a struggle.
Ram= Could be better again. It's enough for entry level once again but if you wish to video edit it will probably be pretty annoying as it will need the program to be restarted constantly
Hard Drive= Nothing really to say about the hard drive but its not an SSD. But that isn't really a must have but it is a good addition if you find yourself constantly turning your laptop on and off.

Personally, I have a beasty PC except for the graphics card which is crap. I also have a beast laptop which has these specs:

      -Intel i7 Quad-Core 3630QM 2.4Ghz (Virtual 8-Core due to Hyperthreading)
-Nvidia GeForce GT 650M 2Gb (Also with CUDA technology which I find extremely useful as I use Premiere Pro for Editing which is cuda core compatible meaning an extreme speed boost)
      -8GB 1600Mhz Kingston Hyper-X Genesis RAM
      -240Gb Kingston V300 SSD
      -15.6" 1080p display
-Also with Nvidia Optimus and a SRS Surround sound speakers built in.

I actually got this laptop from a custom build company. So I got it atleast £50-100 cheaper than an identical spec but brand name laptop.

NIce rig bro, I am considering upgrading my RAM since i kinda wanna do editing on vegas. But it's hard to find a compatible 8gb RAM but i found 2, 1 corsiar and 1 crucial.
They both have the same specs but now im just searchin which one is the cheapest :)
