whats so bad about the new one? i can understand your passion for nostalgia but i mean it doesnt look that bad

Its mainly because Blizzard went moneyhogging with their stupid currency Auction House , if they can politely "steal" your money , then they will do it. Also it is something really bad since experienced hackers can exploit this thing massively.

Diablo 2 was good. That is enough for me.

Diablo 3 is not even a fun game, like Diablo 1 and 2 were.

Normal, Nightmare and Hell are a walk in the park, and Inferno mode is absurdly difficult to the point of unfairness, requiring you to use the cookie-cutter builds Blizzard tried to prevent with the streamlining of the level up system if you have any desire of beating this mode.

The gear doesn't have any cool abilities like it did in Diablo 2, and the only important thing about them is either the defense they give or the damage they cause, other qualities are useless. Blue rank items can also be better than legendary ones, even when they both have the same level.

The risks and opportunity costs of gems and sockets have been obviated since you can remove gems and both them and the item remain intact, unlike in Torchlight.

The online requirement has made the game absolutely unplayable during weekends due to server overload, and even then, there is lag and latency spikes even when you just want to play alone.

And while the story is not something you play this game for, it sucks even then. It is incredibly predictable, full of even more clichés than even Diablo 2. And, let's face it, the ending it has, an ending with a relatively high note, simply doesn't fit a game like this.
