Her face was still red as she replied. "w-well, at least i have someone who thinks that way...heheh" she was unaware of a shady figure coming up behind her

I notice it, however, and quickly push Oriana out of the way and bring a knife to the intruder's throat.
"Tell me who you are, or you die."
I maneuver myself so no one else can sneak up on either myself or Oriana. -
the shady figure doesnt respond as he muttered a few words in latin. after he finished, she was then tied down by restraints that were made from magic, making her immobile. "w-what the?!"

I force a knife into the person's mouth, blade down, slicing his tongue in half.
"Say one more word in anything but Common, and I'll slice it off so you can never cast again." -
the stranger only coughed up blood before he held his hand out at her, causing the restraints to tighten around her. "y-you will....never....stop......us....." he choked out

I snarl and quickly sever his tongue, then break his nexk.

Once he was dead, the restraints faded away and allowed her to stand. " what in the name of Amaterasu was that about?"

"Yet again, I have no idea."
I help Oriana stand and keep her close. -
"w-we should go before any more of them show up...." she says, silently cursing herself for not having her weapons on her

I smile and walk her back to the palace.

Once we get back to the palace, a faint glow could be seen on her arms from under her coat

I look at her inquisitively.
"What's that?" -
She notices her arms as she takes off her coat, showing her 'birthmarks' which were like tribal tattoos all over her arms, and they were glowing slightly. "i got these when i became a warrior..."

I examine them, then smile at her.
"You are one curious girl, Oriana." -
she smiles back "and you are one curious boy, alastar~" she said before pecking him on the cheek. "cmon, we should see if anyone is awake yet"

I smile and grab Oriana's hand, twining my fingers between hers as I smile at her and gently pull her into my arms.
"I don't think they are. They're all exhausted from traveling."
I sweep her into my arms.
"I want to know more about you, Oriana."
I kiss her lips softly and think to myself.
(I don't deserve her.
I deserve isolation for what I've done.......
I'll tell her....) -
She kisses back with equal force, her hand tightening in his

I pull back and a sudden sorrow enters my eyes as I set Oriana down.
"I'm sorry. My passion got the better of me."
I keep her held away from me at arm's length.
"There's..... Something I need to tell you......." -
"W-what is it? did i do something wrong?" she asked worryingly
