  • What Am I Missing? (Redo)

Am Sorry guys i had to re write everything again... because the mod or admin instead of transporting the previews thread the Deleted it... Just like that so i couldn't read anything you replied so if you would be so kind and replay again or anything so i can learn.(Thanks)

Hey guys,i cant really get my channel out there... i did every big an little, Proper Thumbnails, Channel art,Profile Picture, Description, i even upload a video every day.... but what am i doing wrong?
i mean all i wanted to do is share what i've been through with my subscribers/viewers, but whats the point if there is none, heck i'd rather do this alone... but i want to share what i've been through ,But what i do know is that am missing a bit of originality that's something you grow in time, although i do see some improvements of my self, no matter... Dont tell me to be Patient because i have been for 1 year now and don't mention luck please.

  • You know, The pewdiepie forum is not an ADV place, because no one really watch your channel here, really like 2 people will sub to you if you adv your channel in the right section (wich you already did), I mean, I didn't (really) got help in the forum, the Only thing That good that happend to me in the forum, Is I'am batter off my own, insted of people who tells you to read a guide, You should find your own way, Thats the key, And also If you want a real good guide (made from youtube pros) here is the link creatoracademy.withgoogle.com/
you might have some really high expectetion from this forum, I did when I came here, really wasn't as expected at all, ran into alot of stuff wich that to me was worse then "haters", but you just got to understand, not to listen every little one that tells you what to do, the guide I gave you is a real good one wich I learned from it everthing I know, I don't care if its an admin, or a new guy that came here, because they have nothing to base their words on.
You just got to find your own way, Thats a REALLY hard thing, but once you do find it, its just a matter of time till stuff will go as you wanted it to.
I was suprised to find here some pretty rude people (regardless to my threads) in the forum, but I hope you get only the best of my words from this comment and it won't get deleted.
Check out my new youtube gaming channel

  • Focus on improving your commentary/having fun instead on focusing on getting your stuff out there. If people don't stick around to your channel then there's mostly a reason. It's not just about uploading a video every day, or reading the 'noob guide', it's about always looking for things to improve on, to think of original content. Sit down and think what you want to do with your channel, which direction you want to go for, and what you enjoy doing most, as even in the gaming category of YouTube there's many subcategories.
Sup, I'm Doqqy, who are you?
  • These days it's hard to get noticed really. There are thousands of people who do the same as you do.

I can only give you some advise (that's what I'm doing):
    1. Be original (be yourself, do not try to imitate anyone).
    2. Upload frequently (the more you upload, the more you get noticed. DO NOT RUSH).
    3. Edit your video properly (for instance, delete boring scenes, add effects, text etc.)
    4. Do not rush with uploading (try to concentrate on gameplay and have fun with it. Take your time while editing).

And last but not least: NEVER GIVE UP! I mean, if you started this, why you should stop it? There is some loyal subscribers who are waiting for your content. Do videos for them. New subs will come slowly, but they will come, if you'll continue doing the thing.

  • Most of exposure on YouTube is who you know and luck. I managed to get 1600 subs and I started this past November.
I know a semi-famous LPer and he has helped me out a bit as well. You just gotta be diligent. If you come off as annoying,
most people aren't going to want to sub to you. Even today i hate promoting myself and such. Just have fun with it.

    - Your outros are plain
    - Your thumbnails are mediocre, for they are the title of the game.
    - Your channel art didn't attract me

    you should re-read crino's 101.

    How are they Plain?
and how are the thumbnails... ahh my brain
your not giving me much reasoning here, there is music in the background a prev ep with a title on it and a good back ground to the outro.... its either you have absolutely no taste or your trolling me
Edit: i mean even TL on the top he doesn't even have an outro but still 1600 subs.. + your taking the thumbnail issue over all my thumbnails... and your only checking part 1ns

I mean the template of the outro, the song was good. The thumbnails are just screenshots/backgrounds with text slapped on them, it looks like it was made in MS Paint >_>. I never checked TL and don't compare yourself to others, that will just make you worst. You're only satisfied with your stuff because you're the one who made them.

  • In my opinion, you are getting better at editing and stuff like that. It's just that people don't actually get to see your content. I'd focus a bit on this aspect, if I were you.

I'm not an expert, I've just hit 50 subscribers which is not a lot and on top of that, I only started doing this a month ago but I feel like I somehow learnt more than you did in a year. I'm not talking about the fact that I got more subscribers than you, I'm talking about pure knowledge.

My first general advice to you would be: get better IN EVERY GOD DAMN ASPECT! One so-considered 'small' thing I noticed on your videos: you have the same description on all of them.. It just feels robotic, it doesn't feel like you're actually involved in doing it, it's just the default setting you put in there. Asking people to just like, share and comment will not work. So, try to get a bit more involved into 'small' things, get your personal touch in your videos (through commentary, gaming style, editing) and everything besides your videos (description, relationship with subscribers and non-subscribers that see your video).

Also, don't be so interested or at least DON'T SHOW that you're extremely interested in views, subscribes.. Just keep getting better, keep promoting your videos (but don't spam, it's a fine line between these two) and eventually people will realize that you are improving yourself and they will see more of your videos and they will definitely sub you.

Finally, do it for fun. Edit for fun, talk with other gamers for fun, read guides for fun, play games for fun. If you're starting to feel like you don't get any satisfaction from it (regardless of the number of viewers/subscribers), just quit and find something else to do with your time. It's just a hobby and it should give you pleasure on top of everything.

That being said, I subscribed to your channel. I'm really looking forward to see if you're gonna improve in the next weeks/months. I wish you good luck. :)
