  • Celsius smiled and snuggled into Icy's embrace, closing her eyes and sighing happily.

The angel was understandably surprised at the attack, but then... "Prism sword." As Kor was trapped in his descent, several beams of light shot through him, followed by a blade impaling his right knee. "Summoner. Bah. You've no idea how to truly synchronize with your spirit." He jumped and delivered a shattering kick to Kor's kidney, strong enough to break his armor. "You're weak." He then kicked him in the back, knowing Kor couldn't focus through the pain, sending him crashing into the ground. "A waste of time." He lifted his blade for the final blow.

"Now!" Yuushio's scythe, segmented, lashed out and grabbed the angel, whipping him towards the blademaster, who slammed his fist into the angel's stomach, sending him up into the air.

"Gravity Well!" A field of intense gravity surrounded the angel, slamming him into the ground. "Kiha, now!" Oritigo shouted.
  • Even through the blinding pain, Tristam still managed to glare defiantly at his would-be killer... Not that he'd see that through the helmet. "Not... Weak...!" He gathered his remaining battle energy for one last desperate burst, intending to most likely try to incinerate the winged being.
Before that could come about, though, the angel was pulled away. Taking this as his opportunity, he tried to get up... He let out a yelp of pain as he all but collapsed, his wounded leg preventing him from standing.

Kor could only watch as the angel was slammed into the ground, at which point Kiha inhaled a deep breath. Barely a second later, and a great burst of intense dragonfire obscured his sight of the winged being. He knew how hot those flames could get; If they could melt steel, there's no way anything organic could survive it...

  • Seeing his reaction Kayla asks herself "What is wrong with the guys in this academy, I try to help and they all just vanish afterwards without a word of thanks, oh well"*sigh*, an starts walking in the opposite direction thinking "I should see how Sahrah is doing, all of them went after the angel,..she should be lonely by herself".
A minute later she entered the infirmary, seeing Sarah still lying in the bed .Kayla takes some paper and a pen from nearby, hands them to her, and takes a seat near the bed, while mumbling a little bit embarrassed:
"Since they all went to hunt down the angel, and left you all alone, I....I thought I could keep you company a little"*smiles* she then takes a small oil vial and some cloth out of her pocket, unsheathes her katana and examines it.
"I know you would have prefered your boyfriend to be here, but for now I'm all you got"she lets out a wry smile, and start polishing the blade.
  • Claira shrugged Ori off, her black feathered wings spreading out once she had summoned them as she approached the fallen angel. Her battle axe appeared in her hand, gripping the handle as she let the blade rest near the angel's head. "Tell me, what do you know of an angel named Aurora?"
  • Kor could only watch as the great flames consumed the angel's body, not even a scream of agony as it's flesh was burnt away. By the time the inferno ended, the being was little more than a charred piece of meat. Shakily, the half-demon stood to his feet, taking care not to put much weight on his injured leg as he limped over to the winged being, taking off his helmet. He stared down at the sizzling corpse, fists clenching as he saw it twitch ever so slightly; for all intents and purposes it was already dead, but this was still unacceptable.

Vision turning red, Kor grabbed hold of the other, more demonic blade in his possession and brought it down. "FOR FUCK'S SAKE, JUST DIE ALREADY!" He shouted at the top of his lungs as he began roughly hacking away at the body. It should've been in pieces the first few seconds, but an odd lack of force behind the half-demon's wild swings prevented such. However, it was still messy enough to splatter him with blood. "FIRST YOU TRY TO KILL SAHRAH, AND NOW YOU HAVE THE NERVE TO NOT EVEN DIE PROPERLY! I ONLY WISHED YOU SUFFERED MORE, THE FIRES OF HELL ITSELF WOULDN'T BE ENOUGH MISERY FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE!" He raised his blade for one more hit, only to have his wrist caught.

"Kor... That's enough." Said the familiar voice of Kiha, speaking in a softer tone than he was used to. "It's done, the angel's dead..." It was only now did the dragonkin release him. The half-demon only stood there for a few seconds, panting slightly from his recent exertion. Pausing only to give one last hateful glare to what little was left of the angel, he sheathed Soul Eater, and turned to walk away. Kor then groaned in pain as he put a bit too much weight on his injured leg, and would've lost his balance had it not been for Kiha intervening. "Here, let me help you." She'd said, already acting as support. "I'll take you up to the infirmary. The headmasters can clean up the mess here." And with that, the two had begun making their way to said infirmary.

  • At this, Oritigo simply nodded and knelt down beside the remains, holding one hand towards the corpse. "Begone, ye vile creature, who dared attack my students." A small bar of light shot from his palm into the angel, destroying it at the atomic level, unable to ever reform.

Yuushio, meanwhile, followed Kiha in silence. He had his own business to attend to near the infirmary. He did, however, use slight wind magic to aid Kor's ability to walk, lightening his body so his leg wouldn't hurt from walking on it.

Sahrah sat in silence, looking at the blankets covering her, waiting for kor to return.

Sylph had been watching the whole fight, and, now that it was done, waited for Maxwell.
  • After she finished polishing her katana, Kayla inspected it thoroughly and happy with the results, she slides it back in its scabbard. She then directs her look towards Sahrah, who was staring blankly at the beds sheets.
"Don't worry I have a feeling the battle is already finished, and with so many strong people there it will be impossible for them to lose against one angel. Just a little more and he will come to see you" she says while letting out a sincere smile. Then she unsheathes her waist blade starts polishing it as well.
  • Celsius smiled slyly and put a hand on the back of Icy's neck as her voice took on a breathy, seductive tone. "Well, my cute little ghost, if you're talking about me being like this, then yes. I really do feel this way about you~" She pulled him close and kissed him deeply.
  • Even though he could feel his body lightening, Kor paid no attention to... Pretty much anything except straight in front of him, his expression like that of stone. "Kor..." The dragonkin assisting him began. "If it is any consolation, I-" "Stop." The half-demon interrupted. "It's not going to work... Just... Stop." It didn't take long for them to reach the infirmary, and he was about to enter when Kiha keeping her grip on him stopped that. "Teach, I told you, I-" Tristam was interrupted when he was suddenly pulled into a hug. Shocked, he couldn't find a proper response.

"It's not just Sahrah that cares about you." Kiha said in almost a whisper before letting go. "Don't forget that. And, apprentice?" "Y-yeah?" "Here." The dragonkin handed him a rag. "Wipe yourself off a bit. Nobody wants to see their significant other covered in blood." Nodding in understanding, he got to work cleaning himself off. With just a rag, he didn't get very far, but at least now he had a clean-ish face. "Now go, she's waiting for you." Nodding again, Kor entered the infirmary, heading directly for Sahrah's room.

    "Sahrah...? I'm back."

    ------------------------------------------

"WAIIIIT!" A voice called out just as Oritigo... Removed the corpse. A panting Finnian was the one who'd shouted that. "D-damn... I was too late." He stood up straight, still breathing heavily. "Answer me this, at least. Blonde, blue eyes, long hair, female?"

  • Oritigo shook his head. "No dice. Black hair, green eyes, ambiguous gender. Sorry."

Sahrah looked at Kor and sat up, then flung herself at him, hugging him tightly. She held him close and buried her head in his shoulder, sobbing silently.

Celsius smiled and straddled Icy's waist. "I've got you noooow~"
  • Kayla who was in the same room, sheathed her shortsword, stood up and then addressed them.
"Well I'm going to be in the hallway if you need me , give you two lovebirds some privacy. Kor after you finish here..I would like to have a word please." Then she heads out of the infirmary. The then sits on the bench outside and gazes through the window with a hand under her chin, letting out a small sight.
  • Luna had her back against the exterior part of the infirmary wall, her inside of the mask watch Sahrah in silent dripping tears, her face in a blank expression. "What kind of purpose would an angel try to anger another...aren't angels supposed to be good..." Luna thought in her mind as her other eye kind of watched people leave and speak to one another.

  • Celsius smiled and kissed the nape of Icy's throat. "Oh, what? Don't you enjoy this?" She smiled slyly at him and leaned close, her breath crossing his ear tauntingly. "I know I certainly am~"

Aska leaned against the wall beside Luna. "Luna, angels aren't inherently good, just as demons aren't inherently bad. Angels represent law, order, and structure. Demons, on the other hand, are chaos incarnate, seeking to tear down such establishments. They are chaos, disorder, but also freedom."
