"I know, I know!" Beatrice snapped, throwing the blademaster's hand off her shoulder. "I know I'm not that now... It's just... This is... Stressful... I had suspicions, but..." She shook her head. "Finding the test subject will be a likely waste of time and resources; By all means, go ahead, but don't say I didn't warn you. And if you were the the help that guardian captain found, it's possible the dagger is already destroyed. As for me... I... I'll need a moment. Alone..."
As she turned to float off, chair and all, she suddenly froze, noticing Yuushio clutching his head, if only for a brief moment. "You may want to get yourself checked by a healer. Nausea and headaches were the first sign of infection, followed by intense rage." With that said, Beatrice departed, entered the first unoccupied room she could find and all but barricaded herself in there.
--------
Salamander studied the dragonkin as she played with the kitten on her shoulder, trying to look reluctant about it but unable to hide the smile. That only made the fire spirit grin. Again. It proved what she was planning was possible.
The first thing on her mental to-do list was to think of a way to have the dragonkin meet in a specific location, preferably the very same inn they were in. She wouldn't be likely to listen to anything Salamander had to say, at least not without an almost excessive amount of suspicion.
The only thing the fiery spirit could think of that might help was Kiha's apprentice, Kor; He was the closest to her out of everyone she knew, without a doubt. She'd listen to him. So... A note in his handwriting should do the trick. The spirit just needed to wait until his girlfriend finished having her way.

You know, most people call me insane...
That's what happens when I try to reason with people, they don't like it, and I eventually end up turning them to charcoal in the end...
Why are you looking at me like that?
Despite popular belief, I did not draw the avatar I'm using. I can't draw.
