  • OOC: I'll make up something else. And contact you via PM, of course. I've been a GM too much so I thought I could just add a random book. Pardon me, post deleted.

    (dontkillmeplease)

IC: "Grmbl. I wanted Cress to pick up my spellbook. But of course he loses it." A soft whispher form Cress said (Sorry). April didn't seem to notice it though. "Well. Where are we? Doesn't seem to get worse after a visit of a group of adventurers and a demonic magician."

The post was edited 1 time, last by Mystery ().

  • "We're in the city of Ishpa, home of us beastfolk." Arratay said in answer to the kitsune's question. "Intruders in the castle, we need to catch them."
The reason he was answering, though, was because Kria was a bit busy. Busy, meaning copying the technique Yuushio happened to be using, searching for foreign entities in the castle.

    -----------------------

Two would-be thieves felt a shiver run down their spines as waves of unknown energy passed over them.

Hey, watch your back, they know we're here!
Came the telepathic message into the dark-armored knight's mind as he checked the fifth random door he'd found, only to find that it was merely painted to the wall.

The knight then swore violently, and to his surprise, a wall burst to pieces behind him, revealing yet another door.
Seriously? He asked himself. Fuck this place. Even fairies wouldn't go this far!

    -----------------------

The sound of a door opening was heard as soon as Finnian left, and three recognizable figures were seen walking into the Ivory Bell.

One was Finnian's brother, Cyrus, in his usual armor, escorting the dragonkin Kiha, who appeared to be carrying a small, unconscious girl with her. And the third among them, was Izma, the incredibly large Oni woman, who was being entirely ignored despite trying to make small talk with the other two.

It was Kiha who, quite bluntly, told her to "Go bother someone else.".
The giantess frowned at this. "Ah, fine, you were boring me anyway!"

And with a sound that sounded very much like her saying "Hmph!", Izma turned on her heel and marched straight into the restaurant area of the building, while the other two headed upstairs, likely to find a room for the currently unknown girl.

And, as luck would have it, Izma just happened to pick the table Sahrah was seated at, sitting across from her. Oddly enough, though, the Oni was currently oblivious to her presence.

"Lifeless bunch... You'd find more cheer in a graveyard..." She muttered silently.

You know, most people call me insane...
That's what happens when I try to reason with people, they don't like it, and I eventually end up turning them to charcoal in the end...

Why are you looking at me like that?

Despite popular belief, I did not draw the avatar I'm using. I can't draw.
  • OOC: Castle, not temple. Sorry to nitpick, but it irritates me. Also, since Ritual's apparently out of the picture, what are you going to do about Undine?

The moment Yuushio decided to rush blindly into the castle was also the moment Kria took command.

"Rye, follow him and make sure he doesn't get lost."
"Of course, Ma'am!" Rye said rushing after the blade-master.

"Lionel, Magnus, with me." The two generals gave quick nods. "Alden, Tanis, gather the guards and block the entrances. We don't want them getting away."
"You two." Kria was addressing April and Cress at this point. "You're with Yuushio, don't fall behind."

    -------------------------------------

C'mon... One of these has to be the right one...
Finally, after what seemed like hours of searching, the armored man found what he was looking for, seemingly by sheer luck.

Upon opening the door to the Intelligence general's quarters, the swordsman felt a chill down his spine that had nothing to do with the cold of the city.
Cautiously he entered, and that chill he felt seemed to intensify.

It was a plain, yet practical room, the only signs of any real decoration being the large bookcase on his left. Other than that, it was just a desk and chair.
Well, that, and the room just seemed unnaturally gloomy.

Wasting no time, he rushed straight for the bookcase, guessing that it contained some kind of secret. Rather than look for a hidden switch, he simply pulled the thing away from the wall, hearing a loud crack as he did so.
That crack wasn't the bookcase breaking, though, it was the sound of him crashing into a wall due to being struck by some unknown force.

Brute strength wasn't the answer, apparently.
Sighing, the knight extracted himself from the wall, and began searching through the books for the damned hidden switch he knew would be there.

    -----------------------------------------

As oblivious as Izma may or may not be, it did not take her long to notice the Lamia sitting across from her.
"Where the hell is the... Oh?"

She stared at Sahrah, not recognizing her for a minute.
"Odd... Have I seen you somewhere? Ya look awful familiar."

  • OOC: She promised she would be back tomorrow or Sunday. She's been busy lately. But, if she doesn't post in the next few days, I'll just cut the characters.

S: Looks at Izma and blushes.
    "W-well, you have. I-I'm Tristam's g-girlfriend."

Y: Runs through the castle and hears a loud boom, as though someone had been thrown into a wall.
    "Gotcha."
He then takes to the air, flying to where the sound was.
  • "For fu... Headmaster!" April runs in a extremely comical way through the hallways, following Yuushio. Behind her, something that looks like a familiar blue neko, is flying after her in the same way as April. Cress somehow managed to get ahead April in a stream of water firing from his feet. One second, he looked smiling at April. Then, he crashed right onto a wall, spraying water everywhere. "Bai Cress!" was all he heard, before April vanished into a cloud of dark mist. He looked like a sad kitten.
  • OOC: I'M HERE!!!! Busy as fuck, and...long story anyway. I apologise again, and you can all be pissed if ya want I understand, but I had my good reasons to do so. Anyway, if I am still welcomed in this one I shall do my best to hop in now even though a lot of shit happened and I have no idea where are you all. And since the twin sisters are nowhere to be seen, I'll just figure something out with those demons and shit but now just to hop in with what is needed.

    IC:

Lilith: *she opened her eyes after a day-dream that occurred (OOC: Freakin' LONG ONE!!!) and her thoughts drifted away* Zarak. *she started quietly* I...I'm scared. *she thought about what her family was capable of now that they knew and indeed she was truly scared for the first time in her long life* I don't want to loose this.

Denise: *just as she turned to check on hidden dangers of the dark tunnels, it all happened* Well, it looks like we're...guys? *she looked around flailing in panic* Oh damn it to hell with this! *but as she walked deeper and deeper, the more lost she got* Oh damn Undine I am so sorry... *her ears lowered and her face flushed* I am useless I know. I still don't know why would you ever pick me... *she frowned* But fear not! I shall get us back on the track in no time! *But...it took time and she already got really angry* That's it! I give up! I officially g... *before she could finish her angry sentence, someone or something or whatever ran onto her and tackled her to the ground hard, before running further away. Denise straightened and sat up rubbing her head* PSYCHO! *she yelled before remembering that figure yelled out something about headmaster* H-headmaster? Where?! WAIT! *It was pretty much too late since the figure disappeared in thin air* What the hell is going on around here? *she wondered, getting up*

OOC: I will post in Gunstars and other alive RP's tomorrow since I am really tired. But I will and I am back so, hope I did this hop in correctly. Cya tomorrow :3
On the outside I may appear like an emotionless sarcastic piece of shit, but just like an onion, when you peel off more layers, you find the exact same thing every single time and you start crying.

If the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off!

  • OOC: No problems from me. And he didn't vanish into air. Technically, what he did was remove the earth's pull on him, giving him a mockery of flight, not teleportation.

Z: Smiles at Lilith and embraces her gently, holding her next to him.
"It'll be fine. I'll protect you with everything I've got."
He kisses her forehead, knowing how frightened she was.
She may have looked tough and distant on the outside, but Zarak figured that was because she knew no one could fulfill her father's standards and hers, and feared his retribution.
"I swear it on my life. I shall never let anyone harm you, beloved."

Y: He sees Denise as he runs by, then uses the earth to transmit his voice.
"Intruders in this castle. You want to help or not?"
  • No... Nope... Nada... Not that one...
It was at this point the armored knight was looking through the Intelligence general's bookcase, tossing it's contents around haphazardly, with currently no success at finding that switch.

    That soon changed, though.
There was a satisfying *click!* as one of the large tomes was revealed to be a lever, and the bookcase swung open.

The knight's smile quickly faded as he saw what was behind it. A large wooden door that had no handle.
Screw it, I don't have time for this.

He took several steps back, stretching out his arms.
Let's hope this door doesn't have the same protection as the bookcase did.
Then, he charged, ramming into the door with all his might.

And, immediately after, a loud crashing noise was heard, and a certain intelligence general suddenly knew exactly what was going on in her office. Not from the noise, though that was loud enough for the entire castle to hear, but from the trap she'd felt going off.

    It wouldn't be enough...

Eyes wide, Kria did a quick 180 turn, leaving the other two generals to handle the other intruder.
Her destination? Her own office, of course.

    -------------------------------------

"Oh? Ah, yeah, that was it! Funny meeting you here, didn't realize y'had a taste for the food here. Bit expensive, but it's great, and I don't blame you for thinking the same."
It was at this point that Izma caught the look on the Lamia's face.
"What's that funny face for? And come to think of it, where's your boy gone off to? I thought the both of you were basically attached!"

You know, most people call me insane...

  • Y: Hearing the crash, he makes a mad dash towards the sound, phasing through the stonework (As an earth mage, he becomes one with the stone and moves to the opposite side) in a straight shot to Kria's office.

S: Sahrah, at the Oni's mention of Tristam, began tearing up.
    "I-I don't know......"
    She starts shaking.
"W-We were in a room together.... But..... But Sylvia came and took him somewhere........"
    She begins sobbing quietly.
  • The knight, having previously been sprawled out across the ground from the force of his impact, slowly stood to his feet with a groan. His spirits lifted tremendously upon noticing that his efforts did indeed get the door open.

Brushing dust off of himself, the warrior stepped through the broken and battered door, soon finding himself inside a large circular room, even gloomier than the one he was just in. What immediately caught the eye was the amount of powerful-looking artifacts. There were a lot of them. Enchanted weapons hung up on the walls, shimmering suits of armor set up on racks, and numerous boxes containing glowing rings, necklaces, and many other trinkets.

Huh. Must be a collector or something.
However, the knight's attention was soon brought to a bundle of white cloth in the center of the room, and he soon approached.
The cloth was covering something, of course, something fairly large. Curiosity taking hold, he grabbed hold of the cloth.

Immediately, a shive ran down his spine, not unlike before. Just touching this object brought a sense of power, and an odd feeling of, for lack of a better word, Chaos, upon him.

    This must be it...

Taking the wrapped weapon(?) in hand, the knight made to leave. Now, it was time to get the hell out of there.

Hey, you all right over there? I heard a lot of banging.
I've got the weapon. We're leaving, get over here to we can warp out.
Oh...? That's Great news, I suppose.
Gee, sound a little less enthusiastic, why don't you?

    -----------------------

Izma's expression turned stony upon seeing Sahrah crack.
Oh gods, one of these girls... Hopeless and clingy...

The large Oni then sighed, seemingly in annoyance.
"Enough." She said, a little forcefully. "You've got no reason to break down, It's not like this Sylvia ate him or something. If I know that kid, he'll be back soon enough."

She then tossed a handkerchief towards the upset Lamia.
"Seriously, pull yourself together. Crying about it won't solve anything, and I'm sure he'd want you to stay strong. What would he say, if he saw ya like this?"

You know, most people call me insane...

  • Y: He finally made it to Kria's study and erupted through the floor, leaving no damage.
The first thing he noticed was that a door had been opened in the wall.
The second was a knight-looking figure, clad in black armor, stealing a wrapped item.
"Little on the short side to wear armor like that, aren't you?"
He stepped through the doorway, readying his scythe and his magic.

S: The handkerchief hits Sahrah in the face, not expecting it, but she uses it to dab away her tears.
    "It's not that....."
She had regained some of her composure, though her voice was shaky.
"I know he's gone off to do something, and I'm worried about him......."
  • The knight froze immediately, turning to Yuushio, a feeling of intense and barely restrained fury emanating from him.
Without a word, and without releasing his hold on the wrapped weapon(?) in his free hand, he brought his blade from it's scabbard, holding it in a defensive stance, ready to dodge or block (Preferably dodge) whatever would be sent his way.

    "Your move."

    (OOC: Battle theme, because reasons.)

    ------------------------

Right before Izma could respond, she was interrupted by the arrival of a certain kitsune.
"It's finished." Finnian said, placing Sahrah's food right in front of her.

"This woman is not... bothering you, is she?" He then quietly asked.

You know, most people call me insane...

  • S: Shakes her head and smiles at Finnian. "Not at all. Thank you for the food."
She then proceeds to slowly eat the Dango placed in front of her.

Y: Smiles and drives the blade of his scythe into the ground, then tearing it towards the armored figure, sending up a blinding cloud of smoke, followed by a shockwave and several fragments of earth shot in his direction.
Yuushio then smiled, becoming one with the cloud of smoke and reappearing behind the figure.
    "You're outclassed."
He slams his fists into the ground, launching four vines out of the earth straight towards the armored one, with the storm of earth on the opposite side.
  • The knight instantly whirled around at the sound of Yuushio's voice, and immediately sliced through the incoming vines with a single quick, yet mighty swing.
Upon doing so, the sound of stone impacting against metal was heard as the blademaster's stone shards bounced off the warrior's armor.

Looks like my money didn't go to waste. I didn't feel a thing!

As for the shockwave, he jumped over it without even glancing at it, flipping backwards once in the air before landing on his feet.
"You've not seen me fight even once. Don't make baseless assumptions of my skill."

    -------------------------

"I see. You are, of course, very welcome."
    "Uh, hey, fox-boy?"

Finnian turned his attention to the Oni.
    "Kitsune. And what is it?"
"Can I have what she's having?"

    The kitsune nodded.
"Yes, you can. But, I feel that I should inform you that it is quite-"
Izma cut him off right there, grinning as she pulled a small pouch from her side, and opening it to reveal quite a few brilliantly shining gems.

"That will work. I'll be back shortly."
With a quick bow, the kitsune had left.

You know, most people call me insane...

  • Y: He simply smiles and retrieves his scythe.

"Compared to me, everyone is outclassed."
(This fighter is indeed skilled. And that dwarven armor is tough, but.....)

He quickly flips his scythe backwards and slams the butt of it into the knight's gut.
Not a harming move, but it would surely disrupt his footing, which Yuushio would take advantage of, delivering a sweeping kick to the back of his target's knees, intending to knock him off balance and onto the ground.

(In the end, armor is armor, and each one has its weak spot!)

He then raises his scythe, letting the point land in a flurry of small taps on the armor, listening to the sound given off, trying to find a weak point in the armor.
  • The knight gave a grunt of what was merely discomfort as the weapon managed to hit him, causing him to stagger nonetheless.
He saw the sweep coming, true, and he almost avoided it. But one of his feet were caught right as he made to hop over it, flipping him over in an almost comical fashion, landing on his back.

He saw the strikes coming, too, and this time, he managed to defend himself from the perceived assault.
Forgetting his weapon for the moment, he grabbed the scythe right below the blade as it was about to hit it's mark, stopping it in place. He then threw a kick at the blademaster's stomach, and another at the scythe he was wielding, knocking it away as the knight rolled to his feet, snatching his blade as he did so.

"Anyone ever tell you that your overconfidence will kill you one day?"

Damn... This would be so much easier if I didn't have to make sure nobody steals back what I came here for...

He then heard the sound of a door slamming open, and turning his head for a brief second, saw why.
A white-furred cat-woman in dark clothing. In other words, the intelligence general.

"Blade-master. I'll assist you. That artifact must not be stolen."

Oh, for the love of- Hurry up, nine-tail!

(OOC: I'll get right back to Izma in the next post. Too lazy to do it right now.)

  • Yuushio staggered briefly, but quickly recovered, extending his hand out and retrieving his scythe with a wave of earth, catching it and readying his next strike.
Upon seeing Kria, he glared at her.
"This is my fight! Stay out of this!"
As if to assert his point, a wall of stone rose up, encasing the room.
"You go see to any other intruders."
His attention then returned to the armored one.
"Well, looks like it's come to this. You are skilled. Very skilled."
    His brow furrowed.
"But the warmup is over. You've seen just the tip of the iceberg!"
His scythe then began glowing, shining from the magic imbued into it.
"Unfortunately, this will have to end here! Hand over that artifact! Now!"
His scythe seemed to leave a shimmering trail behind it whenever it moved, an almost aquatic shine.
"I hope, for your sake, you've been holding back."
