Wizards and Warriors RP

[OOC: I hope you like text-walls. Plus, about half of this is copy-pasted from somewhere else (Not telling where, though.) with slight edits. So... Yes, I'm lazy.]

Kor searched the arena stands, looking for any warrior looking to challenge him. It had been about five minutes, now, and nobody seemed to want to take a chance.
He was just about to give up on it, disappointed that his ass-kicking had to come to an end so soon.

But, suddenly, the ground shook, literally shook, beneath his feat as something loudly landed on the ground behind him.

Turning around, the half-demon's eyes widened. For a moment, he was stunned into silence; the figure looked completely human, aside from two important factors. The first, it's size; it looked as though someone had tried to build a human but got the scale wrong. By the looks of the person, they towered at least around eight or nine feet in height, and looked broad enough to carry a horse on their back. The second factor, of course, would be the enormous curved horn of red, rock-like bone that juts proudly from the forehead. Other than that, it looked completely human, with a golden brown skin color, suspiciously similar to Tristam's own skin tone.

"Now, I'm going to go and assume you're the one causing so much ruckus 'round here. Shoulda known it'd be someone like you, your kind loves combat after all. Much like m'self."
The voice was deep, rich and undeniably female, but had a gravelly edge to it, sort of like a cross between magma and molten chocolate.
She smiled, her features broad and honest, framed by an enormous chaotic mass of shaggy golden hair, looking for all the world like the mane of some great lion.

She wore a silken blue and white kimono, embroidered with stars, dragons and flowers, which Kor couldn’t help but notice was of a somewhat scandalous cut – his eye inevitably drawn to her chest, though only for a split second. If this woman were a human-sized and remained in proportion, it'd still be something for her to be proud of.

Oh, what's that? "Stop describing this forgettable character", you say? Oh alright, fine.

"That I am. Kor Tristam. Pleased to meet you." Said Tristam, staring defiantly up at the giantess.
"And you may call me Izma. No last name, just Izma will do."

"I'll be blunt. You don't really have all that much chance of winning. My advice to ya' is to walk away. If you don't, I might get nasty. And you don’t want me to get nasty with ya’, do ya’?”

Kor didn't know what Izma was thinking, but there’s no way he was just going to lie back and let some strange woman walk all over him - and he told her exactly that. To his surprise, rather than lunging forwards to attack or flying off the handle, she actually beamed at him.

“Oh, you think you can take me? That’s cute, kid. That’s real cute,” Izma said, abruptly breaking off the conversation to wander around the arena, flexing her muscles and rotating her joints as though preparing to exercise - all the while, her grin growing increasingly confident, more... ravenous.

“Alright! I’ll tell you what I’ll do... I’ll give myself a handicap.” Izma turned to face him, cracked her neck, then extended a hand, folding the other arm behind her back. “I’ll only use one arm. I wouldn’t want to put you in your place too quickly. Where would be the fun in that?” She leers.

The idea that she thought she could beat Kor with one hand behind her back was insulting to say the least, but on the other hand, her overconfidence could be her downfall.

He nodded, raising his fists and dropping into a fighting stance. Izma grinned. “Let me just say this to start... I am quite strong.”
"And so am I." Said Tristam.

The giantess' grin only widened.

Liara: She finishes cleaning up as she came out of the bathroom, her hair in wet strands plastered to her face as she was wearing a plain white shirt with shorts.

Claira: She sensed something off with Ori as she looked at him. "is something wrong? you seem lost in thought.."

Lilith: *smile*Well done. I was hoping you will say that. *chuckle* Just don't really know how Poofers will stand a giant wild dog.

Belial: *open eyes and turn head to Liara still unable to actually get up properly* Hey beautiful. *smile gently* Had a good one?

Liara: She nods, going over and kissing his cheek. "Y-Yeah, though it was kinda hard to get the blood out of my hair..." she said as she laid next to him. "S-So what is it that you had to tell me?"

Both fighters stared each other down, waiting for the other to make their move.
Kor was the one to strike first, dashing towards the giantess and bringing back his fist in preparation for a strike.

Unfortunately, upon throwing the punch, he was caught by the wrist.
"Meet the wall." Said Izma, throwing the half-demon into the wall of the arena, which cracked a bit under the stress.
Said half-demon just glared as he pushed himself away from the wall he met, feeling sore all over.
Not only was this woman ridiulously strong, she was quite fast as well. Not a good combination.

That really hurt... I can't let her do anything like that again.

As he approached the giant, Izma leaped backwards onto one foot, spinning around and unleashing a thundering roundhouse kick. Luckily, Kor managed to duck just in time, avoiding what surely would have been a monstrously powerful blow.
Seeing an opening, he sweeped the giant's foot out from under her, causing her to fall to the ground hard.

However, before the half-demon could follow up with anything else, she rolled away, on her feet in about a fraction of a second.
Quick as a flash, Izma lashed out, aiming for Kor's head. Her fist connected with his chin with a mighty crack, sending him sailing across the arena. The giant of a woman smirked as the half-demon stood and dusted himself off, scowling at her.

Having a little trouble, there?
Shut up, you.

If there was anything that could possibly distract Izma, it was being called a "metal" freak.
The horned woman turned, scanning the crowd with a scowl on her face.
"Alright, who said that?! If you're gonna call me names, at least get your damn facts right! I'm still flesh and bone, I'll have you know!"

Knowing an opportunity when he saw one, Tristam dashed forward, and landed a vicious uppercut into Izma's head, causing her to stagger from the power of the blow.
He didn't let up, throwing punch after punch into her currently unprotected mid-section.

Eventually, the giantess decided she'd had enough, shoving the half-demon away. As he stumbled, nearly sent sprawling from that shove, Izma surged towards him, smashing aside a hasty guard and seizing him by the throat in the blink of an eye. Lifting the half-demon above her head, he could only struggle to breathe as she grinned at him like some sort of prize. With a grunt of effort, Izma then hauled Kor through the air, her iron-like grip around his throat providing the perfect anchor to propel him towards the ground. Before he had a chance to react, the giant drove him into the unforgiving stone lining the floor of the arena.

The hit was extreme enough to leave the half-demon dazed, splayed out across the floor. The arena was still echoing with the sound of the impact when he regained at least partial consciousness, a testament to the woman's strength - and his resilience.
"So it's my win, I take it?" Said a smug-looking Izma, crouching down, to which Tristam could only respond with "Ngghh..."
"I'll take that as a yes. You don't mind, do you?"

"D... Damn... It..."
"Thanks. You're such a swell guy."

Grinning, the giant stood, striking some kind of victory pose. She then scanned the crowd, looking for anyone else stupid enough to challenge her after that little display.
What she failed to notice, though, was that Kor was actually starting to get back up. Gritting his teeth and clenching his fists, he managed to force himself to stand, a faint, yet still ominous red glow surrounding him.

By all logic, he shouldn't even be able to stand, and it showed. He looked unsteady on his feet. As if it'd only take a stiff breeze to knock him over as he advanced upon a currently unsuspecting Izma.

Claira: She hesitates, but nods in response as she lays back down, pulling him down with her. "I hope Glasya worked things out with Belial...i hate to see her like this"

Lilith: *nod* Alright, he is one brave fur ball then. *chuckle* The Elder is pretty huge. *get up unwilling to let go of Zarak's hand* Any obligations for you today?

Belial: *feel a wave of red hitting his face again* Yeah t...that. *sigh pulling Liara on his chest* Well you... you make your demon really happy, princess. And I... I just wanted to tell you that I want that to be forever. *rub her back* You know like...for you to never leave my side and... *blush more if that was even possible* T...to be more than j...just a girlfriend to me... I... I know you're young, and it is early. Not to mention I almost...almost lost your trust back there... *breathe in, his heart racing insanely* I just want to tell you to...to consider that, if...if you're willing.

Liara: She covers her mouth and smiles widely, thinking the same thing. "B-Bel, a-are youa sking what i think your asking?" she asked, then suddenly hugged him tightly, crying tears of joy. "I-If you are, t-then my answer is yes!" she exclaimed

As soon as he half-demon heard the voice of a wind-spirit, he just crossed his arms, frowning.
"No, I'm not going to cheat." He said quietly. To the crowd, it looked like he was only waiting for Izma to realize he was still there. "Get the **** out and let me do this proper."

He was angry enough as is with the thought of being defeated. But when some spirit with no sense of fair play decides to go and say "screw the rules" and interfere?! Even if it put him at an advantage, he was a little bit absolutely livid.

He wasn't the only one angry, either. Though her face betrayed nothing, the very air around the fiery spirit salamander grew burning hot as she recognized the signs of interference.

Lilith: *nod* Good, because I have an insane proposition for you. *chuckle at Poofers and leave him be on her head* I want you to...I want you to come with me and visit my father. *nod before he could answer and justify* I know, I know it's weird and I know the atmosphere will be intense and as thick as blood but... I want him to meet you before the tournament and...he is still my father and he needs to know. No matter what kind of person he is. *glarw at Zarak worried* So, what do you say?

Belial: *gulp and nod* Y...yeah. I'm just too...too clumsy to say it straight but... *sigh* I need a ring for it too and... I kinda threw it away after you thought I was cheating on you. I thought you would never want to see me again and I wasn't thinking. I am sorry I...I'll get a new one. *smile lightly* Then I'll do it properly and... and I have to ask Glasya too since...since she's the closes one besides your sister you have. *chuckle* Hope I'll be able to walk afterwards. *look down at her wiping her tears off and smile* But...are...are you really sure?

The half-demon blinked. He was expecting more of an argument.
It was at this point that Izma realized that something was wrong, turning around.

"Well, then!" She said, genuinely smiling. "Looks like you have more fight in ya than I thought! Good for you! Let me guess, you’re going to take revenge on the big bad Oni, right? Have at thee, then!"
Kor did not look amused. His anger burning brightly, the edges of his vision red, all he cared about right now was destroying the opponent, and that was instantly apparent as he charged at her, roaring his fury and forgetting about any sort of defense.

Only problem was, she'd caught him by the throat. Again. And was probably going to smash him into the ground like last time. Tristam narrowed his eyes at the woman’s superior expression, raised a leg, and kicked her roundly in the face. Izma dropped him, staggering back in surprise. “Ow !” She actually yelped, covering her face with her hands.
The advantage was Kor's, for the moment, and he took it, pummeling into the giantess' unprotected midsection.

He knew this wouldn't last long, and decided not to press his luck, quickly ending his assault with a final strike.
"Iron Palm!" He shouted, planting a glowing, well, palm, into Izma.

She actually slipped backwards onto one knee, holding up a hand for pause, momentarily staggered by the furious onslaught.

“Alright, alright! Hold it a second!” she yelled scowling as she pulled herself back to her feet. Warily, Tristam remained in his combat stance just out of reach, waiting to see if Izma would try anything. She just dusted herself off, glaring at him thoughtfully. There was a long tense moment as they exchanged stares, before finally Izma let out a quiet grunt.

“Hmph. Okay, okay; I admit it. You’re pretty good, kid. So, if ya want, we’ll call this one a draw. Go on, get outta here, before I change my mind.” She caught sight of the half-demon's surprised expression and chuckled. “What, you actually think you can take me? Full force, without some cheap gimmick? I’m not normally in the business of granting death wishes, so I’ll give ya one last chance to walk out nice and peaceful before I decide I gotta teach you a lesson.” She folded her arms and smirked expectantly, clearly expecting Kor to take the hint and run.

But he doesn't. After her performance the last few seconds ago, he was pretty sure he could take her – and besides, her smug attitude was beginning to get on his nerves. He stood there, glaring daggers at the giantess. Izma’s smirk widened slowly into a full-force leer as she realized the half-demon was not going to cut and run.

“You’re really gonna try your luck, aren’t ya?” She asked. When Kor nodded in response, she threw back her head and let out a booming, uproarious laugh.
“I love it! I love this attitude! Fighting you is more exciting than anything else I’ve encountered in this godawful place! Alright, here – I’ll give you a gift! A glimpse of my full strength, no gimmicks, no holding back. And remember, you asked for this, so I don’t want to see you crying when you lose!”

Without warning, Izma suddenly brought one leg up, swung it wide, and smashed it back down onto the ground. A second later, she does the same with her other leg, assuming some kind of strange, half-crouching stance. The half-demon readied himself for an attack, but instead the giantess took a deep breath, clenched her fists, and then...

“Tooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh!” She roared, her voice only a low rumble at first but quickly growing to a thunderous crescendo. Kor could only watch, astounded at the bizarre spectacle, as Izma’s roar started to cause tiny tremors to run through the arena, knocking over several small objects people carelessly left in the stands. She continued to bellow the strange war-cry, cords of muscle visible against her neck from the strain of… Whatever the hell she’s doing.


And this will be where I leave you off at a cliff-hanger. I'm sure you're sick of text-walls, so... time to go see how everyone's doing in Ishpa.


"We are here." Said Kria.

It had taken an unnecessarily long time to reach the beach, but they wre there, nonetheless.

"Where is the elf? Denise?" Alden asked. "I remember her and Undine following."
"I don't know!" Rye shouted. "They just seem to disappear and reappear whenever and wherever they want!"

"They hate me... It's my fault they're gone..." Said a still "depressed" Arratay.
Sick of his whining, an Annoyed Tanis Matriar brought her fist down onto the master general's head.

That snapped him out of it, but not in the way she was expecting.
"Did you just try to clunk me in the head?"
"Nnnngh...! It's like punching solid rock...!"
