Denise: *whistle surprised* Well I'll be damned... *look at Rye* What ARE those things? I've never seen anything that could cause something like this. Not out of my books that is. *curious looking around* Is it magic or just brute strength? *nod answering herself* Yet, he or she...or...it, has to be quite firm to keep hitting head till it bleeds and be able to walk afterwards... Amazing.
Belial: *scratch head and blush* Well, I was summoned to your world not so far away downhill from here. Since Lilith was still nowhere to be found at that point and I was prevented to approach Academy without her, since no pure demons without mediators are allowed there, I just roamed around and I heard water so I climbed up to see. *chuckle* I loved it so much that I was almost late to meet my mediator. I wondered how come no one ever came around here and eventually I decided for it to be mine since no one wanted it obviously. *shrug* But, since we got together I felt so small around you and was always looking for something to let you know how high I think of you. *smile* So, I wanted to give my meadow to you. That is, if you want it.On the outside I may appear like an emotionless sarcastic piece of shit, but just like an onion, when you peel off more layers, you find the exact same thing every single time and you start crying.
If the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off! -
"An abomination, I thought we'd made that clear." Said Rye, stepping through a giant gap in the bars. "This is all the work of brute strength and sharp claws. And for your information, it was male."
----------------------
"Fair enough." Was all the half-demon said.
He was tense, ready to dodge whatever first strike Sahrah would throw at him.

U: closes her eyes and lets the river of time carry her mind back to the moments before the incident.....
OOC: this is a technique unique to spirits. As they do not experience time normally, they can cast their sight back in time to view previous events that have occurred in a location.
S: "Hyaaaaah!"
She springs towards Tristam quickly, planting her fist into the ground at the last second, letting the momentum carry her tail, swinging faster at Tristam's side. -
Liara: She looks at him with a mix of happiness and shock. "I-I would love to have it! i-its beautiful!" she said as she hugged him tightly.

A few months in the past...
A white tiger beastman desperately clawed against the stone, as if trying to go straight through, screaming indecipherable yells of pain.
After minutes of yelling himself hoarse, the tiger collapsed, writhing in agony.
"Let it stop...! End this pain!" He cried out, earning himself looks of pity from the guards.
"Good gaia... We're just to leave 'im like this?"
"Unfortunately."
"Can't we..."
"Before you ask... No."
"Says who?"
"Kria."
"You mean the intelligence general herself?"
"The very same. Hit the poor guy with her most potent soothing spell. Did absolutely nothing."
"Oh, gaia..."
Both soldiers did little to hide their discomfort as the prisoner began bashing his head against the wall.
The scene blurred for a second. When all became clear again to Undine, a week seemed to have passed.
The prisoner still remained in agony, screaming himself hoarse and writhing on the ground. He was weak from hunger, thirst, and lack of sleep, due to his illness. As he was, his writhing was little more than the occasional twitching.
"Oh my, burnt out already?"
Said a feminine voice, as a small figure seemingly appeared from nowhere.
"Kill... Me..." The tiger begged the unknown woman, who merely laughed.
"Kill? Why would I destroy my masterpiece? You are perfect in every way. Or at least, you will be..."
She placed a palm on the dying man's forehead.
"You will feel no more hunger, no more thirst, and you will be the strongest of all living beings. And that's just the start. Doesn't that sound nice? Don't you want that? No? Too bad."
The tiger's screams intensified as a dark purple glow shined from the girl's hand.
"Now, not even death will stop you from achieving perfection... And when you do, come find me. We have much to do together..."
There was not much else afterward. Within a few days, the beastman broke out and fled the castle without any casualties.
--------------------------
The half-demon stood his ground, ready to block the attack thrown at him.
*COUNTER!*
Kor had been waiting for this. With a soft grunt, he managed to catch the tail, skidding an inch or two along the ground from the force of the attack he'd caught.
Before Sahrah could react, he began to swing her around by the tail, and like last time they'd sparred, made an attempt to throw her out into the lake.

S: Like last time, she wraps her tail around Tristam's wrist tightly and lets air resistance push her body around Tristam's.
U: Puts her hand on her forehead.
"That woman.She did this."
She mutters to herself, then looks at Rye.
"Tell me, do you know the woman who visited him?"
She then describes the woman Undine saw. -
Denise: So, someone DOES have some use out of all this mess...
Belial: *chuckle and hug Liara* I am glad you like it then. *smile and set up picnic blanket and all the food that seemed impossible to carry all that way up hill* Well princess, I hope you like trying out new things. *point at strange exotic sandwiches and fruit* I made sure everything is of great quality and I made sure it's safe for you. *wink* Just, I do not think they would approve all these in heaven. *laugh gently* These are all basically things picked from the grounds of Abyss and found nowhere else. *take a strange looking fruit morganwillenbrinkart.files.wor…53b6879943323anu0mrj.jpeg * Like this one. Its taste is never same for two people so I do not know how will it be for you but it will be fun to find out *laugh* I get these from Disparter's layer. And these... *take on of apples that looked just like ordinary one but with the skin of gold* These are gift from Memphistopheles, the richest demon in the Abyss...and so on for sandwiches but I shall let my princess judge on those. *smile at Liara* Well then, dig in.On the outside I may appear like an emotionless sarcastic piece of shit, but just like an onion, when you peel off more layers, you find the exact same thing every single time and you start crying.

Kor was no fool. He remembered how this ended last time, and he was not going to let it happen again.
He managed to keep at least one arm free as the lamia wound around him, and with that arm, managed to land a punch into her head.
Kor winced at the contact, feeling guilty for it, but logic and reasoning told him that Sahrah was prepared for any accidents that might occur.
------------------------------
"Woman? What woman?" Rye asked cluelessly.
"Other than Kria, nobody ever came to visit him."
The guardian took on a thoughtul expression.
"However... Security had been pretty lax here for a few days, due to the virus spreading and mass panic. Theoretically, someone could've gotten in during that time if they got through the cluster[CENSORED] of a maze we call a castle."

S: she felt the punch hit her and her body loosened its hold on Tristam slightly, though not enough to free his other arm.
U: "Hmmmmmmmm."
She closes her eyes in thought.
(This woman......)
Y: Wakes up with a yawn.
"Is there anywhere someone could hide easily? A mountain ridge, dense forest, what have you?
We can safely assume our culprit was nearby during the outbreak. Somewhere they could observe the results.
This leaves three possibilities: A mountain range where they could hide and observe, somewhere nearby that is heavily hidden, or within the village itself." -
"We live in the mountains, for crying out loud. There's about a thousand places a person could hide!"
Rye had said.
"Unless you can track life energy down, we're not likely to get anywhere!"
--------------
The more Undine thought of the figure, it became clearer and clearer.
She was small, far too small for a normal woman. Her skin color was quite unusual, too, a shade of purple.
Also apparent were the horns.
Now, looking back, the figure could be easily identified. A young(?) girl of demonic(?) descent.
-------------
Kor scowled as his attack was less effective than he'd hoped.
Instead of making another, he actively made an attempt to free himself, violently struggling against Sahrah's tail.
With his strength, it wouldn't take long to escape if nothing was done.

S: having recovered from the punch, she quickly tightened her coils again, trying to trap Tristam's arms to his sides as she wrapped her arms around him, squeezing his upper arms in a tight embrace as her face drifted closer to his, preparing for her Will-draining kiss, to rob him of any desire to fight. (A skill all royal lamia possess. It must last for 10 or more seconds, or possibly not even work, for the kiss to drain the will of someone as stubborn as Tristam.)
Y: "Tracking life energy, huh?"
He stretches, popping his back and shoulders.
"Quite a rare skill indeed."
He deepens the stretch, closing his eyes.
"Guess it's a good thing you have me along, then." -
Confusion was pretty much written all over the half-demon's face as he leaned back as far as he could away from Sahrah.
"W... What do you think you're doing...?"
-----------------------------------------------
"Bwah?" Was the noise Rye made. "You can do that? But how? Even the intelli-"
"As a matter of fact," Said a voice behind Rye. "I do believe I can."
The wolf jumped about a foot into the air, and whirled around to see a familiar cat standing in the hall.
"Kria? When did you-?"
"Thirty-two seconds ago. I rounded up some of the other clerics. All the infected have already been cured, all that remains is to keep aware of any returning symptoms."
The white-robed feline turned to Yuushio.
"Don't mind me. Please, continue."

S: Leaning in, she plants her lips upon Tristam's, bringing a sweet sensation, assailing all of Tristam's senses at once, attempting to overwhelm his will to fight her, all the while holding him in an embrace to keep him from leaning too far away, twining her fingers through the hair on the back of his head, holding him in the kiss.
Y: a look of serenity crosses Yuushio's face as, in his mind, the rest of the world vanished from sight, instead becoming as one with the flow of time and life, seen as distortions in the flow, each unique and pushing on him in a unique way, regardless of distance. In a sense, his mind became one with the world as he began tracking the woman, searching her out. -
Kor's eyes widened as the unexpected feeling hit him full force, reducing his struggles to near nothingness. Had this been a real fight, he might have had more motivation to bother resisting.
For the love of... When did I get stuck with such a pathetic worm like you?! You can't even throw off a stupid kiss! LAME!
That snapped him back to reality. And then, his characteristic stubbornness returned. The future hero, Kor Tristam, defeated by a kiss? NEVER!
With a fire in his eyes, the half-demon's struggles returned full force. It was becoming quite difficult to keep him in place.
In other words. Nice try, now try something else.
---------------------------
Kria studied Yuushio's expression, taking note of everything about his current state. From the magic he was using to his aura, and even the less magical things, such as his heart rate.
Within minutes, she felt she could at least mimic whatever he was doing. Though, obviously, she'd not be as good at it, only copying what she could see. Only her sheer amount of magical affinity allowed her to do such a thing.
The world became a blur to her as she began copying Yuushio, instead of vanishing from sight. In this blur, she could see/feel multiple powerful life-forces. Or was it magical aura? She couldn't tell.
No doubt, if the blademaster was experiencing the same thing, he'd immediately notice her unusually strong aura. She knew her disguise as a healer wouldn't last forever, but she didn't mind, acting as a healer was tiresome.
Immediately apparent was the odd, deathly force coming from somewhere at the bottom of the mountain, on the beach. No doubt Yuushio could feel it, too, if she could.
That force was weak, though, as if something was trying to block it. Suspicious. That would be an excellent place to look.

S: smiles at Tristam.
"Hard way it is, then."
She begins tightening her coils around him.
"Sorry if this hurts."
OOC: Yuushio didn't vanish from view, his vision changed. On the outside, he's exactly the same.
Y: Notices Kria's aura change in the flow of the universe.
"A mimic, huh? Just like Ori."
He looks at Kria's form.
"Sloppy. Tell me. How long have you been able to copy skills?"
Through the flow, time was meaningless, allowing two seers of the flow to hold conversations silently within moments. -
"I have been able to copy any and all magic since the day I was born." Said Kria simply.
Her aura was not of the kind and gentle cleric she pretended to be, but cold, ruthless, and somewhat sorrowful.
"On top of that, magic comes more naturally to me than anyone else I know, even the master general."
She turned to face Yuushio.
"I am quite surprised you had not noticed this earlier, but... I am the intelligence general."
She then projected an image into the blademaster's mind, one of her true self.
"Surprise."
----------------------------------------
Kor held back his screams as the pressure on him began to take it's toll. He had to get out of this before-
*Squeak!*
What the...? Did you just...?
That sounded oddly like the half-demon made the noise that a squeaky toy would make.
*Squeak!*
Oh my god, that's hilarious!
Apparently Tristam's a squeaky toy. Weird. And a little embarrassing.

OOC: Haha! Tfs reference!
S: tries to hold back her laughter, unsuccessfully, bursting out in a fit of laughter, making her loosen her grip on Tristam.
Y: smiles at Kria.
"Ah. Quite interesting.
However, irrelevant to the current matter.
Shall we investigate the anomaly, General?"
