    Tristam had said with sarcasm.

    "Oh, don't be such a baby! There's no way to travel than by air!"
    Said the harpy carrying him.
    "I don't have wings, dammit! Nothing is stopping me from falling except you!"

    "That's a good thing, boy."
    Said the other sister.
    "And besides, we're almost there."

    The half-demon looked down at the ground below to see they were descending. Strangely enough, their landing spot looked no different than the rest of the forest.

    You know, most people call me insane...
    That's what happens when I try to reason with people, they don't like it, and I eventually end up turning them to charcoal in the end...

  • "Um, she'll be up at the top."
    Said the younger twin.

    "Eh?"
    "Look up."

    The half-demon did just that, and upon doing so, felt his jaw drop somewhat.
    What he'd assumed were regular trees apparently had houses built onto them.

    "Like my sister said, she'll be at the top. Mind your manners, though, we're not above teaching you manners if you so much as think of insulting her. Even you, princess."

  • S: grabs Tristam's hand and begins leading him up the walkway to the highest point in the tallest tree.
    "so. The village's men being gone caused the stop in the flow of Happiness Honey, but I think I may know why the harpy's took to kidnapping men."
    There was a ways to go, yet, and Sahrah giggled.

  • The eldest of the twin sisters, who took to escorting Sahrah and Tristam, blushed for no explainable reason.
    "B-best to let her majesty explain."
    "Sis, why are you-"
    "N-nothing!"

    The half-demon was just as confused.
    "Why, exactly?" He'd asked Sahrah.

    Before another word could be spoken, though, the elder sister interrupted.
    "No more talking! We have arrived. You will stand before her majesty, and you will be silent unless spoken to!"
    She rudely shoved the two in through a door, where they met a particularly regal-looking harpy, the queen, who looked genuinely surprised.

    "I do not recall requesting anyone to be brought to me."
    She stated, looking over the two.

    The elder harpy sister was quick to defend her actions.
    "I figured it would be best to bring them here, considering who exactly our Lamia friend here is."
    The queen's eyes widened slightly.

    "I see... You two! You stand before Amara Rhimeth, queen of the harpies! Speak quickly, or suffer my displeasure."

  • S: Bows to the queen, as one would greet an equal, not a superior.
    "Well met, Queen Rhimeth.
    I am Sahrah of no last name, rightful princess of the lamia."
    She rises up and meets the Harpy Queen's gaze.
    "I shall be blunt. We come regarding the men from Happiness Village.
    I have an assumption as to why you took them, as you are all...."
    She coughs slightly.
    "Female. However, You must realize the position you put the females of Happiness Village in.
    Without any males there, they now risk losing their way of life."
    She looks the queen in the eyes.
    "What you have done is, put bluntly, kidnapping and abduction.
    I realize it was for survival, so I shall not hold a grudge, and I shall ask the women of the village not to do so, either."
    Her look grows more serious.
    "However, neither can I simply allow you to keep the males you have taken.
    Therefore, what I propose is, in simple terms, a merger between your village and Happiness Village.
    I still must get the approval of the Happiness Village's chief, but the terms would be simple.
    You get males for breeding purposes, and, in exchange, you send some of your citizens to help with the work of the men you are given.
    Of course, you may not take all of the men, but enough to survive and thrive."
    Sahrah puts a piece of paper with these terms in front of the Harpy Queen. (She had used her tail to write it while talking.)
    "Are these terms agreeable?"

  • Belial: *clap* And now we wait. While we're at it... *grab her and dance with her around the room without music*...I shall do my best to keep my princess amused. *spin her around and bend her over the arm kissing her gently*

    Denise: *chuckle* No, I guess not. At least some of them. *sigh and laugh* I don't even care now that I got you to walk me home. *blush* Thank you Icy. You're really amazing.
