  • Kria sighed in exasperation.
"What. An. Idiot." Was all she could say, before beginning to curse violently under her breath as she prepared to break down the wall, a blood-red aura surrounding her upon gathering up the necessary energy.

The other one does not matter, you ignoramus. Was the message she sent via telepathy. I'm not going to allow that weapon out of our hands because of your idiotic pride!

As for the knight... In response to Yuushio's challenge, he... Put his sword away?
No, I wasn't questioning my own writing, he put his sword away, into a scabbard at his side.

"I had hoped I wouldn't resort to something like this, but... Well, you leave me no choice."
There was a sound of tearing cloth as the warrior ripped away the wrapping around his stolen artifact.

I can't fight him normally, it's just not possible. Even going all out, it'd get me nowhere! This is my only chance.

Upon being exposed to the open air, the weapon's power was most definitely noticeable, and now it could be plainly seen that it was a large, blackened greatsword, and according to the lettering written on the blade, it was known as "Soul Eater.".
Taking the blade in his right hand, his main hand, the knight had suddenly gained a fiery aura of battle energy as he re-entered his standard, two-handed combat stance. Whether that aura was his own, or because of Soul Eater, was unknown.

    "Come forth, and be crushed."

(OOC: Battle Theme upgraded. Is this annoying, yet?)

    -----------------------

Two pairs of heavy footsteps were heard as a fairly distant conversation was audible, even to Sahrah.

"...Found her in the woods. I told you, already." Said a female voice. Without a doubt, it was Kiha. "Something blasted her and left her for dead. Probably mental damage as well as physical."
"Just making sure." Said the voice of Cyrus. "It's odd, though. Who would attack a little girl? You still have her bag, correct?"
"Right here. I'll take a look through it once I've had something to eat."
"Fair enough. I'll be at the doors if you need me again. And make sure that Oni woman doesn't cause trouble."

Izma whirled around in her chair with an unnatural speed, just to glare at the armored kitsune who said that.
"Hmph." Before long, though, she returned to a normal sitting poistion, idly tapping her fingers against the table.

The Oni had apparently forgotten the conversation she was having not too long ago.

  • Yuushio was slightly angered at the intelligence general's brashness.
"You misunderstand, Kria. I've not had a challenge like this in a long time.
I want to face him at his absolute maximum. To see just what he can do!
This isn't pride, general. This is something far more primal!"
    The walls grew stronger.
Yuushio smiled at the armored one.
"Good. Now, give it everything you've got!"
He rushes at the figure, an afterimage following him closely.
    (This is gonna be fun!)
As he rushed, a glow began surrounding him, a faint blue aura that grew stronger and stronger as he approached.

OOC: Stryder, the weapons still have not chosen their wielders yet, so they actually make their holder weaker if used in battle right now.
It's not until later that they begin growing stronger.
  • A poof of black smoke popped up at the door. "Eheh! I made it! Now, where's the---" She couldn't finish her sentence, because her eyes were pointing to the sword the knight was holding, then switched to the two Headmasters, charging at him. A quick message was sent to the two Headmasters. /Prepare yourself. This room is getting a quick makeover./ A dark circle appeared on the place April was standing, then turned the room pitch-black, with the exception of faint glows coming from the two. Now, demon-blade wielder. Let's see what you can do against not one, two, but three experienced battlers. a low voice said.
  • OOC: There's not two headmasters. It is basically a heat haze that follows his attacks. So now, each time he strikes, another hit immediately follows.

Yuushio glared at April and, without stopping his charge, pointed his hand at her, sending her phasing through the wall of stone.
"No one will interfere with this fight!
April, this is an order from your headmaster! Go search for other intruders!"
  • "Whoa---" She stumbled on the stairs, immediately losing her concentration on her spell. After she got up again, she muttered "By the Angel... " Then, she got up to search for the other one. "If I was a thief. Where would I look for an forbidden and extremely dangerous artifact?" She smiles upon having some sort of clue. "Library. Of course, it's full of information about those artifacts." A quick poof later, April vanished again.
  • Right before the kitsune known as April vanished, she caught a glimpse of a human witch(?) running right past her.
"OhhinicetomeetchabutIgottagetouttahererealquickseeyoulaterbye!" The witch said in one breath as she ran.

    *Elsewhere...*

"Damn you! This isn't about you, Yuushio!"
A large explosion was heard as Kria unleashed her built up energy into the wall, cracking it, but unfortunately not breaking it. IT wouldn't last long, though, not when the general was charging up another shot.

Meanwhile, inside the room, the knight's grip on the chaotic weapon tightened as the blade-master approached.
He thinks I'm a worthy opponent? He must really be slacking if I pose that much of a threat to him. But, On second thought... I didn't come here for a fight.

    "Dimension Door!"
In a flash of red light, the dark knight disappeared, suddenly re-appearing right behind Yuushio with a loud *Crack!*.
"Iron Palm!" And, using his free hand, smashed Yuushio in the back with an unarmed strike, intended more to send him flying rather than actually do any harm.

He then rushed towards the now damaged wall the blade-master had created.
"HAAAA!" The knight shouted, kicking the wall with all his strength. And, surprisingly enough, the wall shattered, allowing him to take off at a sprint, past a recovering intelligence general who'd just received a face-full of stone.

  • Yuushio grunted from the force of the impact, but did not go flying, instead sliding forward several feet, leaving trenches in the floor.
    "You're not getting away!"
His scythe then broke into several segments, linked by chains, with the head of the scythe now facing forward.
    "Get over here!"
He threw the whip-scythe at the armored figure, catching him by the throat and yanking him back into the arena and onto the floor, where the headmaster then planted his foot onto the figure's chest, pinning him and exerting enough pressure to make the armor give and flex, trapping his arms as well.
"Now, then. I think we should remove this helmet, don't you?
It's impolite not to look your opponent in the eyes."
With that, several vines began pulling the helmet off of the figure's head.
  • (OOC: Catch the reference and win a prize!)

The knight landed with a heavy grunt, the wind easily knocked out of him from the fall.
And, struggle as he might, he could not escape again, though it was no doubt taking a monumental effort on Yuushio's part to keep him from doing so.

Right as he felt the helmet slipping away, and desperation begin to take hold, he felt something else trying to pry Soul Eater from his grip. Turning his head a few degrees, he saw Kria, face and body covered in small, bleeding cuts and scrapes, trying to rip the weapon from his hands.

And, right then and there, he heard a distant voice, and the sound of running, both of which were getting closer.

    "...mineminemineminemineminemineminemineMINE!"
Immediately, something with both the speed and power of a large truck crashed into Yuushio and Kria, sending them both soaring through the air.

Now, standing over the black-armored knight, was what looked like a human witch, face obscured by a large, pointy hat.
    "Mine." She said.
The witch(?) then immediately helped the knight to his feet, and soon after raised her left arm, wearing an expensive-looking bracelet, into the air.

"We'll NOT be seeing you guys later." The woman said, smirking. "Return!"

There was a bright flash of blue light, a loud *CRACK!*, and then, the thieves, and their ill-gotten weapon, were gone.

  • Yuushio was, needless to say, furious at this point.
    He then turned to Kria.
"If you hadn't interfered, I would have had him."
His voice was calm, but his eyes held absolute fury and wrath.
"Your artifact would be back in your hands, and the culprit would've been apprehended.
If you hadn't weakened my wall, he could not have broken out."
He took several steps towards Kria and got down on one knee so he could look her in the eye.
"That artifact was one of the chaotic weapons we need to destroy, and, because of you, it got away.
You are very lucky that I got a bead on his life signature. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to control myself right now."
He stood up and walked straight out.
"Denise and Undine will take care of your wounded.
I expect her back at the academy as soon as her job is done."
With that, he left, becoming one with the earth and feeling out the energy signature of the intruder.
    It felt familiar to him.......
    It couldn't possibly be......

    OOC: What's my prize, Vegeta?
  • OOC: Oh, good for you! Have a biscuit! *Throws a dog treat in your face.*

"And if you hadn't tried to take him yourself, the wall would've been unnecessary in the first place. In other words; It's your fault as much as it is mine!"
The intelligence general glared full force at the blade-master, and the very air around her seemed to drop a few degrees in temperature. Just from that glare, Yuushio was struck by a terrible feeling of doom.
"Oh, believe me when I say I knew exactly what that was. Why do you think I came back here in the first place? Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to fix everything in my office that you so kindly broke."

The general, pushing past Yuushio, slammed the door behind her as she entered her office. The door glowed briefly, before it was suddenly replaced by a solid wall.

One thought was constantly running through her head, however.
Perhaps we are fortunate to have lost the artifact. There's no telling what might've happened if that idiot went ahead and broke it. Nothing good I imagine, too much chaos energy.

(OOC: Anyone who wants to leave should go talk to Tanis about it. If you don't remember her location, she's currently at the castle gates. Just throwing that out there.)

    ---------------------------

A loud crack was heard throughout the Ivory Bell, the sudden noise causing many of it's customers to jump in their seats.

"Holy hell!" Cried the voice of Finnian from the Kitchens, who, from the sound of dishes breaking, had received quite a shock.

Two people had rushed to see what the commotion was about, Cyrus and Kiha. As for Izma, it didn't look like she really cared.

  • (Ooc: How the HELL you manage to write so much?! Sorry but I won't be able to follow till Friday afternoon my time. Got an exam going on so if ya can't wait just use my characters as NPC or you play them I'm really indifferent)
On the outside I may appear like an emotionless sarcastic piece of shit, but just like an onion, when you peel off more layers, you find the exact same thing every single time and you start crying.

If the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off!
  • OOC: FffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

S: Her heart leaps when she hears the sound, thinking it may be Tristam. She quickly leaps up and dashes to the kitchens.

Y: Meanwhile, Yuushio had arrived at the source of the energy emissions.
    The Ivory Bell.
    Classy.
He materialized out of the ground and hid his weapon. No need to cause a scene here.
Yuushio then walked into the establishment, lowering his cowl so his entire body was covered.
There appeared to be a lot of commotion, and the energy he sensed was in the back.
    Perfect.
He slipped into the kitchen amongst the confusion.
  • OOC: One does not simply stop a roleplay. And certainly not this one.

IC: Cress finally managed to get up, still wet from the crash he made. Man. I need to get my stuff under control he thought, while looking at his blue suede gloves. He then wlked to the library. He knew April well, she always goes to a place where it's quiet, and with something to read. But, before he managed to get there, his path was crossed by a figurine, running and yelling the headmaster. "Woha-- STOP!" was the only thing he could say before being mashed by another person again. Again, his hands sprayed water everywhere because he reacted. "Egh. Who are you? Randomly mashing studens isn't handy 'round here." His eyes had a flame of irritation in them.

((I'll get back to April soon.))
  • OOC: Well, I thought it was. If you or anyone else wants to continue this, though, I can still participate.
Also, anyone still stuck in Ishpa should just teleport instantly back and say someone did them a favor. I don't entirely care what happens there anymore.

  • OOC: I see. This has been long overdue anyway, it seems.

IC: "Damn it all, give me a heart attack, why don't you?!" Finnian shouted at the two unwelcome guests he received. He, being proficient with disguises and illusion, saw through Sylvia and Tristam's cover immediately. He also noticed the bundle they were carrying. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING, BRINGING AN ARTIFACT LIKE THAT INTO THIS ESTABLISHMENT?!" He shouted, already knowing something was up, especially with the expression on Sylvia's face. If they still had their disguises, he would act accordingly. "OUT! GET OUT! I WON'T HAVE YOU PEOPLE HERE WRECKING EVERYTHING!" It was at that point Cyrus and Kiha burst into the room, their weapons in hand.

"Brother, what is-" Cyrus began. "What does it look like?! These people so rudely teleported here carrying an obviously dark artifact!" It was at that point that Finnian finally noticed Yuushio as well. "And what do you think you're doing here?!"

  • Yuushio walked up to the armored figure, anger in his eyes.

"Return that artifact. It must be destroyed."

A tangle of vines shot up arlund the boy, binding him as the weapon master grabbed the sword with a vine, starting to yank it away.

    "Release it. Now."

The vines had worked their way under the armor and helmet, starting to pull, trying to pull it away from the warrior.
  • Whatever Kiha was expecting, it wasn't this. 'I remember that armor...' She thought, frozen in place as the young man she knew as her apprentice struggled against the vines, which were somehow unable to wrench an obviously evil blade out of his grasp.

She also wasn't expecting his accomplice, a stereotypical witch woman by the looks of it, to tackle Yuushio to the ground. "GO! I can handle him!" The woman shouted. It was fortunate for the armored man too, that she did what she did, as his helmet was torn from his face as the "Witch" managed to obstruct the blademaster's face during her tackle, right before the reveal, albeit in a rather... awkward way. (Smothered by chest.)

Taking advantage, the young man, now revealed to be Kor, burned the rest of the vines off himself with a quick burst of flame from his one free hand, grabbed his helmet, and ran for it. Instinctively, Kiha grabbed for her apprentice, but only managed to catch his white hair, ripping out a hand full of it. As Kiha cursed, she swore she saw the boy look back sadly as he replaced the helmet. She didn't know what to think.

    ...

'Damn it, how did he find us so fast?!' Kor thought as he ran. 'Gotta run, I have to-' His thoughts, as well as his running, came to an abrupt halt as he passed Sahrah, staring at the lamia in shock. Crap. How was he going to explain this to her? 'I... I'll worry about that later.' He thought, immediately resuming his run straight for the front door without a word, passing a confused Izma and a dazed little girl as he flung the doors open. 'Abaddon, you'd better have one real good-' 'Relax, I've gotcha covered, kid.' Came the familiar voice in his head as the demon automatically assumed control. The chaotic blade in his hand glowed red as the demon focused his body's steadily draining energy. 'Aw crap, this is gonna hurt...' They both thought.
