Hey there bros,
So i'm stuck in a bit of a conundrum, i've been wanting to get the Corsair Vengeance K90 for a while, it has everything i want in a keyboard EXCEPT not all the keys are mechanical. Then i heard there was an updated version being released called the K95. So i patiently waited for it to come into existence and now that it has, i'm a little disappointed with what they've done to it aesthetically.
The K90 uses a brushed silver aluminum backplane with blue LED backlights, giving a very nice look and would go well with my blue gaming setup theme. However the K95 uses a black aluminum backplane with white LED backlighting (despite the images making it look blue). This is the only gripe i have about the K95 and is the only reason why i haven't already jumped on board and bought it. The added features of the K95 are very nice and i like them, basically its the K90 plus more except with a different look which i don't like (especially the white backlight...i want blue). =/
Having said that, an alternative i could get would be the K70 which does have a silver version similar to the K90, only problem with K70 is that it lacks the macro keys which i'd very much like to have. Both the K95 and K70 have a unique way the keys are mounted on the backplane, they aren't sunken in like most keyboards and its that look that makes it appealing to me not to mention how much easier it will be to clean it! (If necessary).
But i digress, what do you guys think i should do? Should i get a different keyboard altogether? Should i get an additional gaming keypad just for the K70 so i have some macro keys to use like the razer nostromo?
P.S. If you're going to suggest me a different keyboard it needs to have the following:
1. Must use Mechanical key switches (don't have a preference for which just yet so feel free to suggest any)
2. Must have blue backlighting
3. Must have Macro keys, the more the better
4. Is NOT the razer blackwidow ultimate or whatever it was
Other than those requirements i'm open to suggestions.
