If I'm able to get to it, I really sometimes prefer manga over anime because it's all the original work and anime is usually a bit modified. But no matter if it was manga or anime, I mostly liked (in no particular order):

My favourite manga has to be Bleach. Because it's Bleach and the Hunter x Hunter manga looks like it's drawn by a two year old half the time.

My favourite-favourite one is Spice&Wolf. Also like Dantalian no Shoka and Ghost in Shell.

I didn't say what my favourite anime was. It's Hunter x Hunter (the 2011 series). Much better quality than the Manga and it's pretty original. It beats the Bleach anime because there's so many shit anime-only episodes and arcs.
