A hard drive cannot cause these problems,its just probably either a defective driver,motherboard,Ram or GPU. Any of the last three means you are fucked and probably need to buy another one. Try asking somebody to lend you their gpu (be it AMD or Nvidia) and see if your system crashes,if it doesn't then its the gpu,if it does then its the motherboard.
