The title is exactly what it is. I have a really interesting idea for a fairly long story that I'd like to see become an Amnesia mod.
Update (Wed, May 15th, 2013): I now have Amnesia: The Dark Descent. However, problems 2 and 3 still apply.
Afew couple problems are stopping me:
1-I don't have Amnesia. I'm a poor college student who'd like to eat every now and then and be able to keep coming to school. As much as I want the game SO BAD, I need to have my priorities.
2- I'm not programmer savvi. I may do some custom maps for Portal 2, but I cannot make them as complex as I'd like them to be since I'm not familiar with the mod maker. I try to teach myself as much as I can, but it can only get me so far. I have very minimal knowlege of how such modding programs work.And because of problem #1, I can't get the modding program to learn how to make Amnesia mods.
3- I'd like to have it be a group project. I know Pewdie hasn't been playing Amnesia for a while. (If I recall, he said it was because there weren't very many interesting mods.) And instead of it just being from one person, I think it would be more special if a handfull of bros pitch in on this mod just for Pewds. While we're on this subject, I don't want just anybody being part of this team. As much as I'd like to, I really want this to knock Pewdie's socks off as well as the socks of other Amnesia players alike. There's also the level of experience to be kept in mind. So I'd really like some people who are well experienced with making mods.
So, with everything said, this is a volunteer-based project. I can't pay people to do it for me and I can't do it myself. So I'm a bit out of options. If anybody's interested, please post a comment in this thread. I shall PM said persons about the idea. (Please only post if you're absolutely serious about being interested in a project like this. Or if you know someone who might be good at modding, you can recommend them here as well.)
